Great photos, always like to see Paul playing the trumpet! Wasn't that his first instrument that he traded in?Does anyone have a recording of that song? There's a store in the UK with that name or a similar name ...

Yes, Paul got a trumpet for his 14th birthday and soon traded it in for a guitar after he realized you can't sing and play a trumpet at the same time!

My friend, who met Paul at the NEMF Christmas party 2 years ago, missed the party last year, but was told by employees there that Paul had shown up again. There was a Mexican band playing at it, and they said Paul grabbed a trumpet and played "Amazing Grace." (My friend now works for a different company, but still has business with NEMF, and is hoping he'll be invited this year. He had promised to take me, but has been told by employees that this year the party will be limited to current employees only, as too many people have been showing up since Paul started dropping in!)

[quote="oobu24"] I love his lips there. He has such gorgeous lips.ð???

https://s29.postimg.org/4pcu0kgp3/image.png That looks like it was taken the day Paul supposedly shaved his moustache off in April 1967 and picked up Jane at the airport. P.S. And unless Paul is wearing a woman's shirt and jacket, it's a backwards photo.

hey_kittay, you want lips? You got 'em

I know what you mean. Even though he plays a variety of string instruments, it's interesting to see him on brass. Just to let you know, that's a cornet.

Hailey is right, a trumpet is longer. I used to play cornet in 6th and 7th grade. Had to give it up after I got braces as it hurt my mouth too much to play!
