YES!!!!!!!! That's a MILLION times better than how it's cut now. That cut would look fantastic dyed a salt-and-pepper gray like George Clooney has But if Paul is going to keep dyeing it, then at least get a flattering cut like this.
Nice!

Very nice color and cut here. This was around '84 I think?

I had an epiphany about Paul's hair at his show in Washington last night. Yes, that is how exciting my life is: I have epiphanies about Paul's hair. Anyway, at one point, after his hair was all sweaty at the end of the show, he pulled all of his bangs/fringe completely back off his forehead. And he looked 10 years younger. He needs to go SHORT, especially on the forehead, because those very long bangs/fringe he has now drag down his face, mirroring the sagging jowls we all get at his age. But short and off his forehead would balance that out. Employing that sort of contrast is actually a basic design principle. I swear in that moment when his hair was all off his forehead, I thought: Wow! Perhaps he should hire me as his stylist.

LOL! I just took the above pix last night at Nationals Ballpark in DC (unless someone got the exact same shot that I did!) and posted it a few hours ago on Facebook. Just kind of a vulnerable moment and I love it. Thought I'd post it in this thread but somebody beat me to it! LOL

Sorry about that but I just had to save it for this thread as IMO it's one of the best recent pics of him. Very well done, tiggywinkle, and thank you for sharing it.

Yes! Very nice. Some seem to be so staged (although very good too). That is a more "intimate" look at him. ps...he IS a ham & poses sooo much! He does love it doesn't he?

Here's one of Wallie's

and one from Markinsouthjersey (i may have posted this one already)

again...with a leather jacket?
-
Yes, I've been saying this for years - it IS a basic principle that as we age, *everything* should be swept up and back in order to de-emphasize the sagging that occurs. This goes for hair, and in the case of women, make-up application. One day, Paul will have that epiphany, Michelley!

Thanks calicoskych2001 and oobu24. I really love the photo; Paul just looks so relaxed and kind of reflective. Just a different look than most I've seen. I'm glad it's in this thread!

Yeah, I know! Was he a vegetarian in 1980? Maybe not completely, huh?
I thought he was?
Well, I heard that during the recording of London Town in 1977 they had a turkey for Thanksgiving, so maybe by 1980 he still hadn't given up his old leather jacket.

I wish we could do something to speed up the process!!!

1966 Paul would have puked if he'd seen 2012 Paul's hair here:
And sadly, it looks better there in 2012 than it does now.
