I'm optimistic he wont leave it as long this time.I hope he doesnt anyway
As long as he makes it back to Europe for a decent tour, I'm fine. I can travel I prefer Scotland or Ireland. Or southern Europe. In case Paul reads this, lol.

Hampden was definitely my highlight of the year especially since i was in the front row, brilliant concert, the whole day was fantastic from the moment i headed for Glasgow city centre, the city seemed to have a buzz about it, sun shining all through the day, now thats something that doesnt happen often here I even got a pre Hampden bonus of seeing James McCartney play at King Tuts in March, haste ye back!! ALL THE BEST FOR 2011
-
I have a few spare unused James McCartney tickets, got them at the bar after the gig, since its the season to be jolly and merry and all that lol i'll post "ONE" to the first person who replies to this thread (if interested) we can sort out your addy later... ALL THE BEST FOR 2011
-
Ooooooh, if you're so inclined, I'd happily take the King Tuts ticket for posterity

we were just a few seats from the left of Macca, we were the ones bouncing all thro the gig others started joining us as the show went on, our tickets were actually for the right hand side of the stage but managed to do a sneeky into that area just before Macca was about to kick-off, only problem was, we couldnt go for a beer etc incase we never got back!! some kind souls sorted that problem out

Hampden was a top gig - everything about that date was just brilliant, even though I spent the morning in a medical tent being treated by paramedics after The Moonwalk in Edinburgh that morning! The best medicine was a 2 and a half hour live show to dance the leg cramps away!

That sounds like our night What a great time. Better than London 1,5 week ago

Is that Edinburgh?
-
Afraid not - the SECC is in Glasgow near the riverside. Not brilliant acoustically, but realistically the most likely venue he would play I would have thought. The funny thing is with being attended to by paramedics, they were telling me to go home and take it easy for the rest of the day - I went home, had a shower, 30 mins sleep, then drove through to Glasgow for the Hampden concert! I made it clear, "No, I'm going to Glasgow to see Paul McCartney" and they were a bit stunned! The last mile of The Moonwalk took me over an hour to do, so I was in no fit state, but a massive mount of glucose later, some medication, and coffee, and I was fine (just about). When the music started, I felt nothing but deliriously happy

Same as its right on my doorstep! theres only really Murrayfield stadium in Edinburgh that would be suitable for Paul.

I thought there would be more than one place he could play at in Edinburgh. As long as it's on a beautiful sunny day in June again, it's fine by me

Is SECC indoors? I really liked Hampden. I prefer an outdoor summer concert.
