Love the bootleg beatles, might go to the usher hall to see them Paul was awesome that night. I would love him to come back sometime soon. He can do the castle or the corn exchange or the picturehouse or if he really wants to get a big crowd, Murrayfield. 2 gigs there next year another wont go a miss

It would indeed be awesome. I want to come back to Scotland next year ( or tomorrow). Wish Paul would announce some concerts near Glascow or Edinburgh and I could spend all winter planning a trip.

Going back to Scotland in 3 weeks Needless to say I'm looking forward to it. My first trip there last June was brilliant. No doubt more great visits to Scotland will follow.

I'm in!!! Rather see him there than in London!

I can't forget about this gig, Jean! It was one of the best gigs of my life - I have thought about it every day since! I met so many nice new friends from all over the world that weekend! Yep, Jo is coming to stay with me in the next couple of weeks and we're going to see the Bootleg Beatles and Them Beatles. It will be the best week before Xmas I've had in a long time. and how can I forget that the man himself pointed me out for not remembering the 1960s, a memory I'll never forget! He better play the UK soon!!! I need a fix! I've become Macca and Beatles crazy all over again, I feel like a kid again!

My wife and I went to hear Paul's soundcheck the night before the Hampden concert. As he spoke to some stagehands , he was sat at the piano and started playing what can only be described as a piece of classical music that I have never heard before. It was a beautiful tune that he is obviously working on and we so hope to hear it again sometime.
Hi and regards from Mexico. I was there too (rehearsal and soundcheck next day) What you hear it's a tune called "Celebration".. and old MACCA composition that was supoussed to be included on the UNRELEASED animated film "Rupert" from the 70's.. later developed into a classical tune, AND IT'S AVAILABLE Officially on the STANDING STONE cd- so, if you wanna hear it again, you need to buy it.. Celebration is part of most of the Soundchecks since 2002 until now.. you can HEAR it again if you search youtube.. It's NOT a new song.. sorry.. I had the fortune to be in all the rehearsal and this is the COMPLETE SET LIST, as it was reported by me a long time ago.. GLASGOW, SCOTLAND JUNE 19th, 2010 REHEARSAL (1 hour- started at 9:20 pm) COMPLETE SET LIST ELECTRIC GUITAR: JAM MATCHBOX JAM HONEY DONT DONT GET AROUND MUCH ANYMORE BASS GUITAR: COMING UP ONLY MAMA KNOWS DRIVE MY CAR GRAND PIANO: A LEAF (FRAGMENT) CELEBRATION 1985/BAND ON THE RUN CODA ACOUSTIC GUITAR: IVE JUST SEEN A FACE IMPROVISATION MULL OF KINTYRE (WITHOUT BAGPIPERES) IMPROVISATION VENUS AND MARS (ACOUSTIC FAST JAM) SAN FCO BAY BLUES

Edinburgh! Another city I still want to visit. Sounds like a plan. Come on Paul!!!

i wouldnt mind taking this thread to 100 pages considering how good the concert was. thinking back im reallly glad about the technical hitch at the beggining,no not 'sharlenne spigetti' but the bit were rustys guitar died. kinda makes the show even more special now.i would say the millenuim stadium, hyde park and dublin punters on here are WAY jealous they were not at this gig. its something about the spirit of a scottish crowd.you get the same thing with football .the scottish atmosphere is unmatched.

I live in Michigan, but this should put it up to 100 pages.....
