i wouldnt mind taking this thread to 100 pages considering how good the concert was. thinking back im reallly glad about the technical hitch at the beggining,no not 'sharlenne spigetti' but the bit were rustys guitar died. kinda makes the show even more special now.i would say the millenuim stadium, hyde park and dublin punters on here are WAY jealous they were not at this gig. its something about the spirit of a scottish crowd.you get the same thing with football .the scottish atmosphere is unmatched.
Hell yeah, thats one of the best crowds I have seen, us scots know how it is done
-
I don't know, I think you might have the Irish to contend with too!

I have mentioned them before, but I'll get lynched if I say them again Arnhem was another of my favourites apart from one incident but thats a long story
-
Dani, I would love to hear your stories. I'm glad you count Dublin as one of the best experiences.

lol People get slammed here all the time 'Whisper' it Arnhem was my first Macca gig. Can't believe it's almost a year ago. First time ever I went to a gig all by myself. And it didn't bother me a split second So glad I went.

Vegas was the worst....New York wasn't great either, for all the dodgy experiences at Macca American concerts thank god for Coachella because that was ace, but it was also standing and dare I say it a younger audience Germany was also strange, I liked the shows there but its a very bizzare atmosphere, less jumpy To be honest its not Paul that makes it for me anymore its the crowd, the better the crowd the better the show because he thrives from that energy and there have been audiences I have seen him with and even he looks bored

Wow, you saw him all over the world!! Lucky you!!! I doubt the Vegas people will check out this thread I found out I focus a lot (too much?) on the stage during a gig. When I re-listen to the audio recordings of Arnhem and Hampden, I go like, 'did that really happen?'. I can rephrase everything he said but I forgot the audience sang along great with a song like Something.
-
yup seen him in a few places and with the excpetion of 1 show it has always been the crowd which have made or broke the experience Its not paul putting me off his shows but some of his fan base Anyhow. yeah I know what you mean, I remember wee things but then when I listen back or reflect I dont remember certain things, aye its strange

Amen!....Think its a mixture of passion & drink! Mull of Kintyre sealed the show.

It was hard for me not to cry during Mull of Kintyre, it was just so beautiful
