CMackbird:
Im thinking about it but its the day after im seeing Bon Jovi at Murrayfield so might not be able to get more time off. Plus I would rather wait and see what chat we get from Macca this summer! And then the beatles weekend aswell.
I dont think there will be a problem getting tickets. I'm quite surprised he is coming to Scotland. I dont think I'll manage it mainly because of work, now if he was Paul then it would be a stuff work situation, but he is not Paul.

DCBeatle64:
Anyone going to see Ringo?...I dont think I can be bothered.
He's coming to Holland as well but I didn't have to think long before I decided not to go. I don't like his music so I rather save my pennies for Paul, my trip to Scotland and Scottish Beatles weekend.

I had to share this with fellow Macca fans because when I told my friends at work they just laughed at me Was in HMV killing some time just browsing and although I wasn't looking at the Macca section I was near it, when I heard a man ask the assistant where the Wings section was, she looked confused before he said 'you know Paul McCartney?' I of course had perked up by this point and she started leading him somewhere which wasn't right so I approached him and said where it was and told him about the reissues and all that crap, as I was talking I thought wow I really must get out more, this love for Paul is getting quite sad He was a nice guy, he then told me Wings over America is a fab album and I should listen to it Anyway that cheered me up after a tough day

When I was in a record store I hardly ever go to I noticed somebody put all Justin Bieber DVD's at the front of all the 'B' sections. They only had 1 Beatles DVD left so I blocked Bieberererbieb with Macca DVD's Also sad he?

Anyone going to The Beatles weekend, should be interesting.I think I may well go but I never go to Dundee so that will be a change in itself

Think Im going to head up for it. You only need to buy a ticket for the Saturday night everything else is free but on a first come first serve basis. Plus its only an hour up the road!
-
I think I'll do it too. I'm intrigued how the first come first served will work. It sounds like it could be good and get to meet fellow Beatles/Paul fans who are Scottish will be brilliant
-
Yeah I know. I emailed them because you can buy a ticket for the Sat night now but its not very clear what its for as in the whole wkend or just one event. They said that the sat night is all you pay for and the rest is just simply turn up and if your early enough you'll get in. Might work but might not i suppose.
-
From their FB: Fab news! The Earlybird rickets are now sold out. Due to the demand, we're releasing the full price tickets NOW, at only £20. Available from Groucho's in Dundee or from http://www.scottishbeatlesweekend.com/tickets

Takes place early Sept, right? Would be cool, so I can travel from Liverpool straight to Edinburgh I doubt it though since it's only a couple of days before the NYC premiere. But we can always hope
