I never knew there was such a thing as veggie haggis. I'll definitely have to try one!! I see the Hampden concert still isn't sold out - tickets left via Paul's site plus resellers like TicketSoup. There's been a couple of people posted on here saying they didn't think it would be a sell-out. Looks like they're gonna be right!

Good news indeed. Ticketsoup is not a reseller, it is one of the four official ticket sellers listed originally in Paul's official announcement for the UK and Ireland concerts:
Sunday 20th June ? Hampden Park, Glasgow Tickets go on sale Monday 8th March at 9am 24 Hour Credit Card Hotlines: 0844 847 2450 0871 297 0066 0844 481 1222 www.ticketmaster.co.uk www.seetickets.com www.ticketline.co.uk www.ticketsoup.com
It is the new trading name of the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre which now handles events throughout Scotland. It uses an different engine to TicketMaster offering buyers the chance to select which block they will be sitting in from the outset rather than having to wait on an offer and throwing back in the hope of better placement. The longer the show remain officially available the more the opportunistic resellers will find it difficult to pass their tickets at inflated prices - this will also drag down the higher prices being asked for the near front seats so good opportunities all round. Scotland came near my home last Saturday. It was the Beatles night with 3 tribute bands, one French, One Polish and one Scottish : Revolver (from Dundee). Do you know them ? They performed a wonderfull gig with an amazing Tomorrow never knows. I discussed with them after the concert and good new : I can understand Scottish They will be in Hampden Park on June 20th and be in concert in Glasgow on June 19th.

Revolver are a great band. We saw them in Liverpool at Beatles week last year. They did the whole of the Revolver album & a very good job they made of it as well.

But of course! Go on, come to Hampden!

""...They will be in Hampden Park on June 20th and be in concert in Glasgow on June 19th..." They should do a gig in Glasgow the night before, that would be awesome! Beatles on Sat, Paul on Sun. That would be a perfect weekend for me )
-
[quote They will be in Hampden Park on June 20th and be in concert in Glasgow on June 19th. Did they say where they will be performing on the 19th ? I can't find anything out about them. They don't seem to have a web site.

This is what I found on Revolver http//www.sharedvisions.com/revolver/tour.htm Can't find anything about where they're playing and can't find an e-mail addy as well (
-
I don't think that link for Revolver is the right site. Here's one with some info .... http://www.myspace.com/revolverdundee
-
"...Here's one with some info http//www.myspace.com/revolverdundee..." YEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSS!!! They're playing in Glasgow the night before. I can see a Macca-fans-gathering coming up that night )
-
No thats the wrong Revolver. These guys are very young. Very odd they have no web site. cry
-
The link that peterbell1 posted is the correct one for Revolver. They are playing Maggie Mays in the Trongate the night before the Macca gig. I've been there before and it's quite a small club type venue, so I can see it being a sellout. Maggie Mays also has a restaurant above the club, and the food is lovely. http://www.maggiemays.info/
-
They do play in Maggie Mays the night before. I mailed MM and they told me you can purchase online tix for the gig as from today. With all the Macca fans in town it might be a sold out pub gig so I will get my ticket up front (£6).
-
I also received an E mail from Maggie Mays but I cannot book on line tonight. No sale at the moment for that gig.

"...I also received an E mail from Maggie Mays but I cannot book on line tonight. No sale at the moment for that gig..." Maybe it'll show up today. If you're going there, please let me know. Maybe we can meet that night.

I am 25, i wasn't even thought of when the beatles were at their height. Lord, John Lennon had left this earth 4 years before I arrived. The first beatles song I ever heard was All My Loving, I was about 14, my uncle was playing the beatles and I was hooked. Within a few short months I had every studio album. In 2002 I travelled to London from Scotland to see a legend perforn in the Back In The World Tour. I haad already witnessed history once, did I think it possible to witness it twice? No. But a short time ago Macca announced he was playing at Hampden on the 20th June 2010. I signed up to every ticket website around, I finally got my tickets on Pre-Sale and when I think wbout hearing and seeing Macca live again, it brings tears to my eyes. I am taking my partner with me to the gig, he has never been to a live gig and what better place to start?!

im taking my wife. shes 24 and also never been to ANY concert before. you might as well start at the top!.ive seen paul many times and i hate to say it but find it hard to get the excitment back that i used to have about seeing him live. im still looking forward to it but find his set lists and vocals have seen better days! still puts on a good show though especially for first timers.im sure my wife and your partner will be exstatic!
