actually to be fair to 'crowdsurge' i just got the same email and i never requested anything.
-
As I stated at the start of March, the tickets are too expensive. £55 should be the price and it probably would have sold out. The fact that he has not been for 20 years, means that most people have not seen him play before, and means he does not have any returning fans eager to see him again, who were at the concert, say 2 years ago. I don't think he is the only act affected by the recession, you can still get tickets for Rod Stewart in Glasgow, and no one seems to be selling out. TicketSoup have no pitch seats on sale, but you can buy 10 £85 tickets for the stands. I hope I am wrong and there is a last minute surge.

i think the crowd will actually be around 35 ,000.but if you count season ticket holders like they do at parkhead it might be about 58,000!

When you consider it is an ex Celtic Director in charge at Celtic, you may not be far off the mark! I know it is mischievous but does anyone know if the SECC is free that night?

LEONA LEWIS is on i think. thank god for that!

My tickets were sent today but for Hyde Park. About Glasgow, I received the same mail as JamieMilne. Fortunately, I have my booking for Revolver. I will see at least one gig in Glasgow. I had planned everything for my Scottish week-end except that I could receive the ticket too late.
-
i think everybody should just calm down, the tickets will be here on time. it isnt crowdsurges fault. like the email said they should be delivered to us over the next 2 - 3 days so we should have them by at least friday 11th
-
I'm actually quite optimistic about how many tickets have been sold now. I've been told that sales have been healthy as expected. Last week new blocks of tickets that had been held back for the pitch and stands were released, and these have been mostly snapped up. This has been coupled with more advertising/tie-ins from local radio as well as new billboards ads. I saw 2 today driving to/from work - a different design to the usual 'Up and Coming' graphics we've saw for months. Now all we need is the weather to be fine...... Chris
-
havnt seen or heard any adverts, think my mum told me there was one on stv, but ive saw a big billboard across from asda toryglen, next to hampden.
-
Yep, there has been a few adverts on ITV/STV tonight and every time,I shout 12 more days! D No ticket as yet but it was my sister that booked the ticket on her card so I will so be telling her to check her email tonight! My backside is making buttons! Anyway, who else is going to Maggie May's on the Saturday night? As long's Macca still plays I'm no caring about ticket sales! P It's gonna be great no matter what!
-
Seen quite a lot of adverts, loads of posters in shop windows in Edinburgh and there have been quite a few adverts in the local papers. Also when there has been events on at Hampden there was quite a few plays of an ad for the show, I think its gonna be pretty full. The problem I think that they have not tapped into is the fact its all seating, I've said it many times but Hampden shouldnt be all seating, thats I didnt want to go. oh also have an increasing feeling doors will be late as well, just to cheer you all up

french let it be:

I had the same two mails. London is a week later and the ticker were sent. Very strange!

We have requested the ticket stock to be sent to us from the promoter for a number of weeks and they have informed us that there has been a delay in this process due to production changes.
Fool as I am (or diehard fan) I have paid over £350 for two tickets at Hampden Park, sat in Block AA7. I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate my 35th birthday and being on a very average wage, really had to save hard for these tickets. I hope Paul, via his promoters, realises this before f*cking around with 'production changes'. I have no idea what the term 'production changes' means, but does it suggest a change in the stage / seating layout because of average ticket sales or worse ... a change of venue and date? With all respect, you can shove the SECC up your arse. I've seen Paul twice at the M.E.N. Arena in Manchester, and whilst I like arena shows, i've paid good money to see a STADIUM show in Scotland and downsizing is surely not an option at this late stage? I've also struggled to get the week off work and booked the hotel and transport in advance so Paul ... don't let ME down.

does it really matter? everybody will get there tickets on time lol who cares lol.

JamieMilne:

Quite a flippant remark. It matters to someone who has swapped his annual leave to attend this concert (and taken special leave without pay for the return journey home on Monday 21st), booked a nice hotel for the weekend of June 19th-20th and spent a rather tidy sum on train tickets. So yes, it would be a large inconvenience if this concert was rescheduled or indeed moved to another venue (SECC) due to 'production changes'. This may or may not happen but to suggest that it doesn't matter to those waiting on tickets (especially from a third party reseller like Viagogo) is immensely smug.

Ey ey, come 'ed! Calm down la'! I'm perfectly at ease, but people who have bought tickets months ago in March shouldn't be left sweating at this late stage, especially as my tickets are arriving from Viagogo and rumblings about 'production changes' do little to alleviate matters, especially when there's over £700 at stake for this trip to Glasgow
-
Just checked the Hampden site and there is a more info up about travel, rules and regs, that sort of thing. It will go ahead in Hampden by the looks of it. Opens up in a PDF File. Have a look !

Ohhhh...'only' GBP 700... (seriously, I spent double the amount I think ) If you bought them through an official site there's really nothing to worry about, bring your confirmation number and creditcard. I doubt they're gonna to reschedule. Relax. It'll all work out. One way or another. If not, we start a new thread bashing Paul
