haha, oh dear. I can tell you many negative stories about some of the scary American fans I have seen at Paul concerts however I must say I do have friends who are a bit less crazy and know how to behave, sadly they are in the minority but they are still my friends and lovely people.
I really wonder if the Europeans are more cool, more no-nonsense than Americans. Not only when it comes to Paul but when it comes to celebs in general. I went to visit a theatre in Chicago that has some well-known actors as ensemble members and boy, did I meet some crazy, stalking-material people. And I'm not talking about 16 year olds, no, I'm talking about married women, early 50's that!!! What annoyed me most was the bragging. 'I've seen him 93 times now'. 'I have this shirt since the 80's'. 'I know what hotel he's staying at'. And so on. Which made me leave the soundcheck-group, skip the free bar and join my friends outside I've 'met' some cool American Macca fans through FB though so I know they're out there and I know there are tons of crazy fans from other countries as well but this group blew it for me.
haha yes I know what you mean, if we talk generally about it you are probably right but again that doesnt mean there arent Europeans who are crazy coz I've met a few of them (including the Brits) and vice versa. I think it is generally a culture thing how we react to certain things

For the last 6 years I had a temp job involving the Edinburgh Festival in August-I since quit and as a result decided I wanna do Beatles week in Liverpool and now there is this Scottish weekend I'm considering that now too even if it means going to Dundee I'll be interested to see what its going to involve. As for Liverpool I was looking at the packages and am interested but have never done one of these things. Its prob gonna have to be one or the other for sure
I was looking into Liverpool aswell this year but it might be a bit too pricey for me so the fact theres going to be one in Scotland has made my mind up. So it will be 'Bonnie' Dundee!
I might do the Dundee thing to if i've nothing on at the time, an old flame lives in Dundee so i know the city quite well, I've got a feeling the event might be held at the docks where The Discovery is berthed.
Kl, I know Dundee pretty well too. I think you may be right, it would be a chance to go see Discovery again and theres a braw hotel near by. DC, Congrats on graduating. Maybe you can get into Office and get things sorted.

Freaks are everywhere Some countries host more of them than others though

ah neat, it sounds interesting, I do quite like the sound of it and its always fun meeting fellow fans. Dundee isnt to much of a trek for me
I'll be in Glasgow, don't think it's too far away from there as well, right? It's my b-day the 11th so it's gonna be a fun trip
-
Dundee is an hour from Edinburgh so about an hour and a half from Glasgow.

I wonder why he and his band are in NY right now. There was the ballet announcement yesterday but that does not involve the band as far as I know. Hmm.
-
The day of the concert was quite possible the best day of summer last year. Weather was perfect and the show was incredible! He need's to do another Scottish show.

Are the band there? I wouldn`t read too much into it. Nancy lives there, Linda`s family live there and Paul has homes there.

According to facebook Brian Ray is there but really how much does that mean, doesnt mean he is there for Paul. Paul himself like femaleanimal is there a lot so who knows

Brian is there and he mentioned 'work' today so I'm sure it has something to do with Paul. As far as I know his only boss

hmm sounds interesting...but I wouldnt get to excited still, most of Paul's 'staff' have other jobs so to speak...I dont think everything Brian does as a job is necessarily Paul, that of course doesnt mean its not
