hiya i've just phoned crowdsurge and they don't have the tickets YET!!!!! should have them by the end of the week and they'll be sent out by recorded delivery so we have them by middle of next week. They're cutting it a bit fine aren't they. I won't believe it till I have the tickets in my hands I think we should bombard them with calls till they're sick hearing from us Fingers crossed
Very bad new. Knowing the French post, I don't think I will receive my ticket before I leave

I sent an email to hampden about support Hello do you know if anyone will be supporting Paul Mccartney ? - Thank you for your e-mail. We have not had confirmation of a support act for Paul McCartney. Our web site will be updated when information is received.

I don´t understand why they don´t sent out the tickets earlier. I´m a bit afraid because I have tickets für Glasgow and London and I will leave Germany on June 19th. So for the London ticket I have no hope to get it in time. In Germany, when you order tickets, even if the concert is months later, you have your ticket some days after ordering it.

Is there anybody else at Rennie Mackintosh City Hotel at Renfrew Street?
I'm staying at Marks on Bath Street, parallel to Renfrew. Looks like it's just a 5/10 min walk away.
When do you arrive in Glasgow?

Right, this has been building up for a while, but its gotta be said. I've bought 2 things from the official website, and this is the 2nd time this website (or sites provided by this website) has provided me with a substandrd service. First of all there was the Good Evening New York City CD/DVD (Topspin), which took months to arrive, and now there are three tickets to the Glasgow concert (CrowdSurge) which have not even been dispatched yet, which is pretty pathetic considering the closeness of the concert and the amount i paid for them. The thing is its happening to so many of us, and i really think they need to up their game. I dont think i'll be ordering anything off of the official website again unless there are drastic improvements. Josh

your right 'darth' its a totall joke. there is no way mccartneys people aint responsible for this. fans are sitting at home now worried about their travel arrangments. really no need to cut it this fine..why did 'crowdsurge' get to be an agent?.because mccartney tour operators chose them. they dont give a monkeys about us or our worries.its not alot to ask to get the concert tickets we paid hundreds of pounds for months ago in reasonable time for the gig. i feel so sorry for the poor souls who are coming from all over the world to this gig.its bad enough from where im standing. if my tickets dont arrive before the sat 19th june i will not be going. i refuse to travel up there without them and start messing around at the hampden park box office.i have done that before for a 'scotland match' and believe me its a nightmare.! paul mccartney hang your head in shame!
-
I have just contacted Ticketmaster I was told they have not recieved the tickets from the promotor yet & they will be sent out as soon as they have them. Cutting it fine or what

now it appears there really IS something paul mccartney should be apologising for! i wont be burning my beatles or wings CD's however its the last time i will buy anything through his garbage website or attend his tour. they have no respect for peoples different situations or lives. personally we have had to move mountains to get the 'twins' along with our 7yrold cared for . my wife is very uncimfortable about it as we have never spent the night away from our babies. believe me if the tickets dont show i will be half relieved that we will not have to worry about them and their needs. it will not stop me being disgusted with paul mccartneys people and claiming every last expense back. if he had had the decency to do a gig in the north of england we would not have had this problem with regards travel and hotels. but then doing something in the likes of 'liverpool' would be far too sensible wouldnt it.he would probably sell out for a start! exactly who is pauls tour operator these days?...mickey mouse?

It's really taking too long. For his Dec gig here in Holland, I ordered my ticket on a Wed morning, had it in the mail on Thurs. All it takes is printing the damn tix and mailing them out! But I'm going!!
-
It might be that ticket sales have not been too great. Sales in the UK have never been as great as the US. I thnk they have been waiting to see how many tickets have been sold. We are all in for a great show and we will all get in!
-
For all the people who ordered from ticketmaster I asked what would happen if people had left home & their tickets had not arrived. Make sure you take your confirmation email details of your ticket order with you so you can ring ticketmaster on this number 0844 277 4442. You have to go through the automated system first before you get to talk to someone which is why you MUST have your booking reference number with you. If you have not got your tickets they will arrange for you to pick new ones up at the box office at Hampden.

Guys, First of all - CALM DOWN!!!! Don't blame ticketmaster or ticketsoup for the late issuing of tickets. They are only AGENTS. The promoter employed by MPL (Marshall Arts I think) will organise the printing of tickets and their delivery to the ticketing agencies. Truth is though, that in this day and age, it seems to be the norm to leave the issuing of tickets to the last minute for whatever reasons (possibly as a ploy against touts?) I'm sure ticketmaster/ticketsoup are just as anxious in getting the tickets theselves so they can turn them round and get them out to us guys to stop us giving THEM grief. I bet as well that the tickets destined for foreign shores will be sent out first as a priority. In any event, all tickets will probably be sent with some sort of tracking. If at the end of all of this, if with 5 days to go, you still don't have ticket, then by all means give your agency a call and they'll arrange something for you. You've paid a lot of money to get into the gig, so they're not going to turn you away as long as you've let them know what's going on. Nothing to get hung about....... Chris

Exactly Chris. I do not like the fact that they mail tickets so late but I'm not worried or anything at all. I paid a lot of money for my soundcheck ticket, I'm gonna see and hear it! I have my confirmation that says where I'm seated and that I paid for it so I'm not worried at all. We don't know who to blame here so no need doing it.

I ordered my tickets at Ticketsoup. I have to pick up my tickets at Hampden Park. They don't send them outside the UK. I have to take my creditcard and e-mail to prove that I ordered the tickets.

It all sounds like ticket sales have not been good. They are advertising it heavily on Radio Clyde and Scottish Television. Does anyone know how it is selling? Should we be prepared to all move to Lesser Hampden? Tickets are too expensive.

for a guy who can hardly sell a record in the UK these days these back to back stadium gigs around the britain appears to be very very adventuristic. to my mind 'liverpool' remains the one place in britain where mccartney can still fill football stadiums easily. i would say 90% of music loving brits dont even like paul mccartney full stop.sad but true. i really hope the whole tour dosent decend into an empty stadium late career disaster for macca.it WILL be widely reported in the rags if thats the case. i would imagine the london gig and the isle of wight thing will look after themselves although the big problems could be at 'glasgow, cardiff and dublin. as long as my ticket comes soon i wouldnt have a problem at all with the promoters if they had to almost give these tickets away for nothing just to help the occasion.

just got this email from crowdsurge "Just to provide you with an update on the status of your Paul McCartney @ Hampden Park tickets. We have requested the ticket stock to be sent to us from the promoter for a number of weeks and they have informed us that there has been a delay in this process due to production changes. However we have just been informed that the tickets have been dispatched to us today and therefore we will be aiming to deliver these to you over the next 2-3 days. As soon as they have been sent, you will receive an email to inform you and this will include the Royal Mail tracking number assigned to your order. If there are any changes to the information listed above we will endeavour to let your know and we appreciate your patience on the delay experience to date. Kind Regards The Team @ CrowdSurge"

thanks for the positive move 'jamiemilne'. i wonder what the 'production change' could be? surely not another downscaled gig like last time in scotland?
