Tickets for most things are expensive, for the football, rugby and concerts its bloody expensive regardless... a cap would be a nice idea thats for sure
What do you pay for a topgame (not able to read all previous posts, maybe it was posted there already)? Major league here cost you between 15-50 euro for a topmatch.
adult ticket £28 the last time, by the time you add the money for the overpriced food at the ground, pub before and after the match, take away curry on your way home after the pub and a few other things in between, well basically, your skint lol

I just checked on the team I support prices (Hearts) For a normal game for an adult its between £17- £23, against the old Firm (Rangers and Celtic) between £26-£29 and against Hibs, our Edinburgh rivals its £27-£31 for a single game I dunno what the other teams are like and I presume Rangers and Celtic are even more expensive
prices always rocket when the old firm are in town, clubs say they dont want them but are quite happy to fleece their fans.

yes the food is well over priced, however I was just in Kilmarnock the other night and they are well cheeper than the Edinburgh and Glasgow teams, still over priced but at least not as over priced I guess at least alcohol is banned in the football otherwise you'd be even more skint...and dont forget the price of a programme, the football shirts, the scarves and any other crap

lol i put programmes etc under other things lol the kerry-oot was always bought the day b4 for the game or sometimes the supporters bus would stop at one of those walk in, walk out shops where the drink was free

i agree with what butcher said.100% however if neil lennon said those words im sure he would get a 16 match ban or something like that!!! to me the real problem with scottish football is never really mentioned. football is now a world game.its as simple as that. the so called glory years came at a time when only a percentage of countries around the world even played the game. the truth is we have never been any good.the reason there appears to be a complete lack of skill as compared to yesteryear is because of the athletic physical nature of the game in the modern era. some of the lauded amazing great players of the past would not last five minutes these days. it often annoys me when you hear cretins like bbc's chick young blaming the ills of the scottish game on our kids playing 'play stations' and 'computer games' e.t.c instead of kicking a ball about the street... does he really think that this applies to scots kids only? somebody needs to tell him that children all over the world have playstations and computer games yet it dosent seem to do their countries any harm! sorry but the truth is we are shite and probably always have been. the one shining exception was probably the magnificent lisbon lions in 1967.[although they too benefited from a much easier and equally balanced european cup in those pre tv days]. put it this way, they would have no chance in todays champions league format!

I cant stand Chick Young, he makes me angry. We have a few interesting up and coming players, however we need more than a few

The Champions League is a joke, should only be for the holders and champions, its become stale as the same teams meet each other every season.

Being a Manchester Utd fan, I feel a bit left out here. What's all this talk about failure and underachieving? I'm sorry I can't relate to you folks.

I still cant believe you support Hibs, do you ever bother going to games?
-
Im used to the abuse!....Used to have a season ticket but not had one since Mixu. Was at the derby this season at ER but the less said about that the better. You go to games?
-
er yes... although my personal favourite was the Mark Devries home debut....5-1 hehe. I was at the newyears day derby as well. I try to forget the games I was at that we lost against you guys, but I think there has only been the 1 where Riorden scored at Tynie...hes such a good player, but an absolute tool

I don't recall the Mark Devries one tbh! Your right....fantastic player just hasn't grown up. I think I have seen Hibs beat Hearts twice in about 15 games. Once at Tynie & Once at ER. We don't have a good derby record at all.

yes but hibs do have the better stadium and strip!

yeah coz thats what matters Anyway Hearts have a nice strip, the stadium is alright apart from maybe the main stand which they could do with refurbishing but sadly we have no bloody money to spend on it. Easter Road is looking good with the new East stand however they dont appear to be getting the results which really is what counts...I dont think Calderwood is a good manager for them, wheras Jim Jeffries is the man
