Oh, yes, 'New', hehe, but I was hoping that our friends in Europe could confirm that this is the correct title of the single.

Love it! This is going to be quite an album I reckon. Way past my bedtime here but can't stop playing this track

It is indeed

'New', from the album with the same title, out 14 October. 14 tracks, from which 2 are bonus tracks. I have no words, what a tune.

Is that for the single or album?

It's part of the album part in the iTunes Store.

Quite a fun little song, yeah. I like it, though not an instant OMG YES moment like I had with My Valentine but still lovely. I get the 67 Beatles vibe, I was even taken back to With a Little Help From My Friends when it did the little repeat bit. The only thing that worried me was that it's the first studio album where his vocal strain seems to be coming through. I think we forgive that at live performances but if you look at Elton John's vocals on his new single compared to his live stuff, it's far cleaner but Paul seems to be wavering a little.
-
Oh, I thought his vocals were sounding great. Very sparse use of pitch correction too, thank f...!
-
woooowww, I've heard it now! GREATTTTT, catchy

Oh, they do sound great (and I agree, death to auto-tune) but there is still a slight strain to the voice. He is 71 after all so I'm not blaming the guy but casual listeners and/or critics might use it as an attack point
-
He's sounding like Macca though! Character of vocal is there on this recording.
-
Australia under the NEW spell!!! And lovin' it...

Just downloaded it off iTunes. Lovely tune, very catchy. Love Paul's voice on this one too. It's absolutely brilliant. The whole album is up for pre-order on iTunes in the UK right now. And judging by this lead single, I think we've really got something to look forward to here. Itching to hear the rest of the album!
Wow. Its the best song Paul has written since "Maybe I'm Amazed".

Gonna be a tough one to pull off live???

Don't know. Sounds like it could be but I think he tends to struggle more with the oldies he wrote with really high notes. He's not likely to write anything contemporary that he can't actually sing.

I found it on YouTube. The song is great and he sounds fantastic!
