Dear Paul: In October, 2000 my mother passed away. I loved her dearly, and I would not have gotten through without your music. She loved your music, too. Anyway, you have helped me so much through the bad times (Let It Be is very special...my mom's name was also Mary) and I just wish there was something that I could do to help you at this very bad time. Just know that we all love you and pray that you get through this. I know it is not easy. I just want you to know that we are all thinking about you at this time, and hope that it gets better for you. God bless you, Paul. Cindy

I was asked my opinion about the relationship and the difficult situation they are experiencing. My reply to the interviewer... 1) It would be pure speculation as I know neither party on any level much less an INTIMATE Friendship level. 2) I do not make a habit of making wild guesses about other people's lives and therefore become (as George Harrison called it) a broadcaster on the Devil's Radio. 3) It is NONE of my business. Paul and Heather, if you happen to view this, not everyone listens and formulates opinion based on "news" reports. Most people in the U.S.A. learned that during the Clinton Administration.
My best to both of you. I hope beyond and above all that whatever problems that you've encountered that you can work them out. And in closing, don't let the chattering magpies tear you down. Forget Them and Drive On. Jim -
I've held of replying to this thread.... thinking "well there is really nothing I can say or do" I've done what was asked of us 'the fans'.... not believed anything in the media and nothing about this has or will ever make it to my Macca scrap book. So many people have commented on 'how can your return joy your music as given us'..... these are very true comments indeed. And for what its worth..... I'd give you a hug and buy you a beer any day. All the best to you both.

Well, it must be a nightmare when everywhere you go, everything you do, paparazzi manage to find you somehow and there is your life on the newspaper again. I can understand that life will get ten times as hard as it already is with such lack of privacy. Paul & Heather, I just hope you can work it out somehow, perhaps the Queen might allow you an exceptional license to shoot any journalist closer than 12 feet... I have been a fan of Paul's all my life. He has given me such joy and happiness. Not a day goes by without his music comforting my soul. The greatest gift Paul has given all of us is all the positive messages of love and optimism in his songs. In a world full of people who wish to be negative and destructive Paul has always taken the road less traveled...the road that gives us hope that we can be kind, loving & caring human beings. We all have choices. I just want Paul to know that I don't wan't to intrude in his private life. I feel so blessed that he has given me and the world such love and joy through his special gift of music. I like everyone here want Paul to have happiness and peace. My love goes out to him and his entire family. Every true fan should have the sense and maturity to not believe in all the media propaganda. I wish all of the true fans would boycott all these trash magazines and put them out of business! Let's all focus on what Paul has been about all these years....LOVE IS ALL WE NEED...WE ALL LOVE YOU PAUL!!!!
