Alda, I never noticed before, but right at the beginning, it looks like Paul is uncovering something... it looks maybe like a Celtic cross or something similar. Do you know what it is?
-
I like all of Paul's videos, but the one that stands out the most is Coming Up with Linda. The song is great, it's very clever, and it's funny.

Thanks for all the Paperback Writer/Rain pics! I love the story behind the above pic where they went to Greece to buy an island! (July 23, 1967): http://www.sabotagetimes.com/music/acid-and-ukeleles-the-truth-about-the-beatles-greek-island/

I've seen this video before, but I never saw that part where he wipes it off before! I imagine that some have been buried over the years. I'm thinking they were around the same time as some of the standing stones?

I've always liked this photo of Paul... is there a story with this photo? Great story about the island NancyR I was thinking if they had bought the island how different things might have been! The whole commune thing reminded me of a picture I had seen earlier of Linda and Yoko on a bed. Very trippy and happy times It's not like that any more, is it?

I am so sincerely happy there r no photos of me out in cyberspace with Paul. I wonder if I am the only woman out there that feels that way.

At least they knew what they were getting into. I feel sorry for the poor girl(s) out there who had no clue till it was too late. And the saga continues.

Most of the girls were one night stands on the road when the Beatles were on tour. Surely those girls knew they'd never see him again! I feel sorry for Peggy Lipton, who was lied to, and Maggie McGivern, who was never told the truth (sin of omission) and discovered that Paul had married Linda 2 days after she last saw him. She talks about that in the link I provided above. Francie Schwartz was just 'used' imo and I think she knew all along their affair was doomed.

Enjoyed this video, hadn't see this one before... nice to see Beatles commenting on recording techniques like the backward tapes and mono to stereo and putting voice through Leslie speaker. Nice to see George on his birthday!

Yep! I was 8 and was sitting almost as close to the TV as this little girl!
