This is absolutely one of Paul's most beautiful pieces and I wish there was a you Tube made of the beginnings of this song... a piece called Fairy Tale with Stella and Mary... It's such a treasure

I adore Celebration, and I've read that Paul added this beauty as the end of Standing Stone, which I love too, because it was like a "family song"...the perfect end for his best clasical work, in my opinion.

I think this is that German waitress that Paul "dated" isn't it? She looks like a transvestite to me!

Paul was with the German waitress before the haircut and suit days, though, right?

You're right, so then who is this 'chick' I wonder? I know I've seen her pic before.

I think it really is a girl, just an ugly one! She just for some reason looks German to me. They did play in Hamburg in 1962 and could have had suits then.

Perhaps in a press release for RuPaul's Drag Race?

That's what I'm wondering--after Paul dated the waitress, they went back for another tour after Brian got involved with the group. They also did some shows there after they became famous, correct?

Please! Where did you read this news?
I read it on the rock show area and the 2013 Tour Rumours thread. I think I saw it somewhere else too.

Alda that was not the song I was thinking of. The song started with the first part of Celebration, then Paul made a recording with very young Stella and young Mary(I believe... or it could have been Heather?! I'm not sure), it was a made up fairy tale about a monster that lived outside the window and little fairies...it was in a dream and the little fairies sang a song and became friends with the monster...he encouraged the girls to sing the fairies part.... "we remember that you were nice" it was so sweet and you could see what a caring and creative Dad he was to the girls... it was so sweet to hear little Mary and Stella singing as the little fairies. Better than any fairy tale from a book! It was quite a detailed story including a part that sounded a bit like a music box when the fairies were dancing... Very very sweet to hear. I've always loved to hear it!! I will see if I can find a recording of it... I've always liked this video from across the Universe? at about 1:44 it morphs into a Magritte like blue sky and cloud sequence and then ends up with an anti war protest from the 60's I've heard this song was written about someone named Prudence, who was in India with the Beatles? I never saw this photo before but it came up with some photos from India.
Is there a picture of the Standing Stone that was in the front yard of Paul & Linda's house? -

Love the photo of Paul with face paint on. It is funny cause I was thinking of Paul with facepaint the past few dayz, maybe cause of the Native American Indian stuff going on where I live. ps> I love the Across the Universe movie!

Is there a picture of the Standing Stone that was in the front yard of Paul & Linda's house?Prudence was (is) Mia Farrow's sister. Both were there in India with the Beatles. Prudence went into her room and wouldn't come out, so John wrote that song about (for) her. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prudence_Farrow About the Standing Stone--it is in the yard of the farmhouse in Scotland. There are pics of it in one of Linda's picture books.

Love2travel, thanks for the pic. I liked, so much. It?s very beautiful.
It's a cool pic, but unfortunately is backwards (reversed). (His hair is parted wrong, teeth are backwards, and shirt buttons like a woman's instead of a man's in case you wondered how I knew!) Plus, Paul is one guy who is not symmetrical and he always looks slightly "off" when the photo is printed in reverse.
