        What's this about?

Edit to add - I read the description and it seems like its all Paul (plus Abe on Drums) while the Hollywood Vampires simply ride the coat tails

This was for the Johnny Depp band and recording of The Hollywood Vampires recording "Come and Get It" a possible Beatles song composed by McCartney, but became a hit for a new Apple band called Badfinger. You can buy the soundtrack on iTunes and other music suppliers McCartney original demo meant for The Beatles:

Thanks a lot - definitely familiar with the 1969 Paul demo/Badfinger versions. Had no idea about this Hollywood Vampires thing though...Cool deal

In the video, seeing Johnny Depp playing that guitar reminded me of the same guitar that played the bridge in "For You Blue" (was it George or John playing on that one?). I wondered if it was the same guitar used to record that song.

What guitar? Which video? It was John playing the slide (lap steel) guitar on For You Blue. ("Go, Johnny, go!" says George in the song that was released on Let It Be album) This is another take: http://uploadstars.com/video/YOUDSXU9RAYW

                    Sorry, meant this video

...at the 00:55 mark, Paul and Johnny are looking at guitars... Paul brings out one that's stored in a box, and Johnny starts playing it, and it sounds like the one used in For You Blue... but doesn't appear to be a slide...

Those are box guitars or Cigar box guitars.

That is a cigar box guitar, like oobu said. Nothing like the one John is playing.

Thanks, Oobu and Nancy! Johnny seems like a great guitar player, enjoyed seeing him jam a bit, maybe there's more videos of him with Paul in the studio... he was in the Queenie Eye video too.
