And hello to Michael, Paul's brother and best man, whom I met in 1985 when he brought his Liverpool talk to Tulane University in New Orleans. I certainly wish the best to Paul and Nancy. I'm tempted to quote from Browning's Rabbi ben Ezra, bittersweet since 1980, but what the heck: Grow old along with me! The best is yet to be. . . . So long, Paul, Nancy, Michael. Best of luck to all of you. Bill Curry Lafayette, LA (formerly of New Orleans) PS--Paul, c'mon back to New Orleans . That last one was great. So was the one with Linda. You could have Thadeus play sax if he's still around. I'm sure the audience would appreciate "This is my Mardi Gras; It's a Lovely Day," even though it wasn't released. C'mon now, listen to what the man's says! Oh, and don't forget Besame Mucho this time.

THAT'S the" official wedding portrait"-- with her thin lips all tooted out, and his arm and leg akimbo in a fey, campy "la dee da" pose? You've got to be kiddin' me...it's a surprise though, another one. He's full of 'em, I prefer the fun creative career/music surprises and don't feel interested in his private life. Though must admit this latest development is kind of interesting in a weird way. (I'm not keen on matrimony and wed "lock," not sentimental about that state at all. Can see a lot of "cons" as well as "pro's.") That so called official yet informal looking wedding picture, rather throws me. I do like it though 'cause it's so unexpected, another surprise. He doesn't look very serious there though...but then, getting hitched must be a bit of a "deja vu" experience for him, a bit jaded and been there done that, and he knows he's always going to have somebody there trailing around with him like his shadow. It's what he wants and is used to. So, more power to him and whatever floats his boat, you know.
Having said all that Suzy, you are interested in his private life? He doesn't seem jaded he seems happy.
Yeah, that`s a very long - and rather rude-post for someone not interested in his private life. I love the picture. Paul certainly does not look jaded.

I'm watching a German breakfast show and the comments on Paul and Nancy's wedding make me smile. There's a lot of goodwill for the newly-weds and nothing but admiration on how the Big Day was handled. I still can't get over how beautiful both bride and groom looked. The big smiles on their faces said it all. May happiness be a constant companion in their marriage. All the best, Paul and Nancy!

Mike McCartney as he left the party: "There's a lovely song our kid did and they had a lovely dance together...." So the tales of a new original song seem to have been realised. Other guests described the new song as "beautiful, romantic, as was the whole evening" Martin

May you have many happy years together! Congrats & best wishes.

I wish them well. That's all I have to say, really.
-
Wishing you lots of Love, Light and Laughter, Paul and Nancy

I've heard on the grapevine that the song is called: 'I don't arf fancy Nancy'. .....and its too be the new single December.

They looked so happy! I'm sure $ is great, but they both have had a lot of tragedy in their lives, I'm happy for them that they found each other.

Where is this grapevine? "I don't arf fancy Nancy"??? Yeah that sounds like a real title to me... NOT! Vaguely possible I suppose, but almost certainly a joke, surely.

Oh, the songs this man is gonna write now...

I'm so happy for Paul and Nancy!!! She looked beautiful and elegant and Paul looked so handsome. I love how everything was handled, photos/a wave to the crowd, Stella designing their clothes, Bea as the flower girl, the intimacy of only 30 people at the regestry....I admire the way they did it. Private, simple yet beautiful. I was worried for Paul to be married again after what happened last time (sorry hate to bring it up, but it's part of my point :wink, but I liked Nancy right from the beginning because she seems to handle herself very well and seems like the right match for Paul. She isn't stupid enough to try and upstage him (which let's face it, is a lost cause--cuz the man is a BEATLE) and there's no drama. It seems Paul and Nancy have been able to enjoy the last 4 1/2 years in a private manner and I hope they continue to do so. Also, it makes me admire Paul even more (if that were possible! lol) believing in love after going through such a difficult time is a hard thing to do. Some people call him naive or stupid, but I don't think so. He's just not cynical about it. He seems to truely believe in love and I admire that. I wish them all the best; they make a cute couple.

Much happiness and love to the lovely couple "the love you take is equal to the love you make"
