Nice list - but I'd include House of Wax and Somedays on this list...and just for something different, I'd also include Rinse the Raindrops

Ditto on Somedays. I'd also add Friends to Go and Too Much Rain. But tastes will vary. For example, I'd also add Feet in the Clouds, but I know some people don't like it (though why I'll never quite get).

I've always thought that "Beautiful Night" was one of Paul's best songs.

My best of, if he ever released it - and I have a rule of restricting myself to a 'single album' 15 tracks (and that's a lot): (in order of albums released, not the record itself) Golden Earth Girl Souvenir Beautiful Night Lonely Road Your Way Heather Too Much Rain Friends to Go Anyway Only Mama Knows Vintage Clothes That Was Me Appreciate Queenie Eye I Can Bet On balance though, it would need to be changed. Too many slower songs. Would need to 'rock' it up. My 'best of' would never be the one to hit the shelves (in-box). A shame "From a Lover to a Friend" petered out after a strong opening.

2 or 3 is quite a challenge! I'll go with Beautiful Night, House of Wax, Queenie Eye.

Side One of this compilation would be pretty much perfect if it wasn't for my inexplicable inclusion of the very skippable track Tiny Bubble. Apologies all round

Superb compilation. I hate to be a Debbie Downer, but ya' might wanna make those YouTube uploads instead. Direct links to Macca's music are a no-no.

Still think a Best Of needs to be whittled down to 15 songs. Now that is challenge.

I think a 2-disc collection is entirely appropriate with sooooo many excellent tracks to use. I'm wholly impressed by mother77's batch.

Now I may not agree with all your 15, but I fully respect your "reduction"!!.. hard work to bring it down to a manageable 15-track album"!!!!
