Hideous. We heard McCartney pitch corrected on almost every official release since ?Good Evening Auto-Tune City?, but butchered beyond being recognisable??! And I only mention his feature because the song, production-wise and composition-wise, is an absolute turd.
Mmmm...somebody else shares a very similar view to yours, across on another forum.
I copy paste all the time across the boards, the usernames should've gave away a hint ages ago, haha.
Oh I've been aware for ages. I enjoy your work: don't always agree but that's normal.
Haha, likewise, peace and love, peace and love ;).

Same view as nobodytoldme or me? *confused* I'm guessing you meant nobodytoldme.

The quotes are messed up - and they still are, but I can't be bothered to fix it now, even more so when this could've been so easily avoided if the board would've been updated somewhere in the last 8 years... :'). But he did mean me, haha.

Hi, The quoting has now been corrected. Misquoting has nothing to do with the board's lack of updates. Unfortunately some members are not as proficient at quoting as others. I do my best to help where I am able to do so, but I have been extremely busy offline yesterday (children back to school) and today. As to the board's lack of updates, hopefully that issue will be resolved once action is taken in regard to the survey - fingers crossed! In future, please feel free to drop a private message if ever I may assist, it is my pleasure to do so! Anita

Actually, I expected much worse. The lyrics though were pretty ordinary. And they really forced some of those lyrics into tight spacing. But overall pretty lazy. Not doing it for me.

...it might as well have been people shouting in traffic.

Jesus, that's bad. Why does Paul get involved with this kind of garbage?

I recognized Paul's voice and Sheryl Crow. Otherwise, it might as well have been people shouting in traffic.
I'm thinking all of the voices on top of each other, represents all of the people of the world, singing out, that they all want our world to stay safe. World-wide, don't you think that you don't want someone in another country, ruining the Earth, for everyone. There are countries, like the US that are using the lions share of resources, or China with terrible water pollution, amongst other pollution. Countries that have a thick haze of brown pollution, Paris from a few years ago. Don't you think this song represents how we all need to work together, because if we don't, it will hurt everyone in the long run. Glaciers melting with flooding , drought and Forrest fires, fish, whales dying off all over, bees dying which will affect pollination and food supply, gas and oil instead of natural energy solutions. OK I'll stop, but we all don't want to leave our children so worse off, do we? We are past the tipping point, this song is a wake up message! We're all in it together!! I really like Natasha Beddingfield, did she write this?

It would be great if we stopped treating our home like a rental car, but I'm not sure the song was overly cluttered for symbolism. They probably just wanted to cram as many people in as they could.

I don't think a rental car has anything to do with the song It just reminded me of voices all over the world with Sean Paul and so many different voices. We all hear things differently. That's what I heard from it, a collective of concerned people. To others a cacophony! No worries! It reminded me of this one, with Natasha Beddingfield, Beyoncé, Miley Cyrus etc.

I read Sir Paul and Natasha collaborated together on this song. Paul was interested Natasha's career way back when he saw her in London I think and visited her dressing room. Before he married Nancy. I have seen her with Yoko Ono on the John Lennon Imagine tour bus. What a feat to write a song with a Beatle. Congratulations on the song to both of them. The earth needs Love.

This is the kind of rock star nonsense I don't like. Singing about a problem is all well and good, but then they all tour only in those places they criticize, because that is where they can make the most money. If, instead of singing about the problem, they would hold a huge press conference and say, "We are going to perform only in those places that don't create these problems and perform for less money to get our message out" I would respect this. But Paul singing on this, then performing only where he can make top dollar (ie places that put out the most foul emissions) just rings hollow to me.

Technology has taken over pop music and has ushered out everything that was of the soul. Thus, the ways of McCartney are old hat and he knows it - and why he's hitching his star to these Illuminati wagons. It's sad.

^^ I just want to say I don't think the quality of the song is for my liking. I was simply speaking of the collaboration on writing. I still can't understand a word they are singing. I am sure some people are making money off it?

Your enthusiam is to be commended. However, I long ago got over thinking everything Paul McCartney does is wonderful.

I agree with you, I've always said that I wish Paul would have sold NEW with his concert merchandise. It's my favorite Paul album! Waiting for Tug of War!

Thank you i still think that the poor sales of "New" are one of the worst things that happened to the entire recording work of macca! Now i just don't like everything that macca record! But is true that are few the songs i don't like because is for that i'm a maccafan if not i was a Rolling Stones fan or i Radiohead fan or a U2 fan but i can tell you i'm not a big fan of "Ram",not a big fan of "Driving rain" or "Give my regards to broad street",but like much of the songs on these albums i think that i have my fave 400 songs and 100 that i don't like that much but i always give a go in all his work never miss a song my fave is "The world tonight"
