I used to play Beatles with my friends. I was ALWAYS Paul
We used to set up our "band" in our back yard. We used a bucket for a drum, I had a tiny plastic guitar and "George" used a broom. I think "John" had a guitar also. We had great imaginations. We would take my record player out there and drive the neighbors crazy.

Wow...we didn't have alcohol at our CYO dances, but people would sneak it in from home. Ours were always above the firehouse and then the school dances would be in the parking lot of the High School. My boyfriend played guitar in a 3 piece band ala Cream or Hendrix. I have soooo many great memories of those days! Maccascruff...when we were younger, my brother and sisters would also imitate the Beatles... with broom guitars and our piano and pillows for drums. My sister grew up to play drums and my brother is a guitar, amp, and Hamond B3 organ collector. We all played piano....all into music and inspired by the Beatles!!!

I'm heading for 49 and have been a fan since the age of 3. Tagged along with my big bro and saw A Hard Day's Night and HELP! on the big screen, every day for a week when they were new. One of my earliest memories from then, is when I learned to use scissors - by cutting the faces of The Beatles from those over-sized tickets from the movie theatre. Click for example of original theatre ticket.
How can you have been a fan since the age of 3?! XD not sure how you would have understood their music back then.

How could $1.25 ever been a lot? Isn't that strange to think about?

Not really, my first job as a teacher's aide I made $4,000 a year and I remember premium gas being .32 cents and regular was .28 cents You can trust your car to the man who wears the Star The big bright Texaco star!
