      I wonder what award they will make up next year just to get Macca to turn up. Maybe the Grammy for the best Grammy performance at a Grammy by a Grammy winner

        I'm not sure what you mean. The category in which Paul won this year -- Traditional Pop Vocal Album -- has existed since 1992. It wasn't a new award. Last year, Tony Bennett won it. The year before that: Michael Buble. The first recipient was Natalie Cole. It's precisely for these sorts of standards albums.

            If he gets a "big" nomination like record of the year, he will definitely be there. I believe I read that he will probably be there next year because he said that he and Nancy enjoy the performances at the award ceremonies.

            Maybe I'm amazed !!
