Got tickets this morning! Very happy after the train wreck of the presale. They're not right up front, but the Echo isn't too big so it'll still be great! So excited to go! It's my first Paul gig, I've only ever heard the cds like Good Evening New York City. What is it like to actually be there?
Going to a Macca's gig is the best thing you can do in your life!
Most certainly is....

This might need to be moved to a different forum How about using this to arrange a board meet up before the gig or for idea on where to stay what to do. Where to eat, getting to Liverpool etc thread. Great pubs and so on
You should organise it, Nowords xxx
Clayer! Are you gonna get to go?
Hiya Oobu how are you? Long time no chat I have a ticket for the Liverpool gig but am thinking I might try to get a package deal elsewhere in Europe Although, seeing him in Liverpool would be AMAZING xxxxx
I hope you get good seats whatever show you decide to get to.

The prices of tickets for this show on tout websites is crazy. I wonder if people actually pay £500+ for tickets.

that's no problem some will meet the day before some the day after some before the gig some later. I'm getting in touch with the cavern to see if they are having an after show party I'm hoping to get to Liverpool to enjoy a full day drinking and dancing before the gig and sound check etc etc

With any luck, the Mersey Beatles will be playing the Cavern that night - they are awesome - so no need for an 'after show party' - this will be the best way to end the day
-
The Mersey Beatles tend to do Thursday nights at the Cavern and are the last act on that night so you should get at least an hour of entertainment in after Paul's show. That said, they may end up with tickets to see the show themselves so who knows...

My recommendation is to book a hotel ASAP Hotels have gone up in price, in Liverpool, on the 28th of May quite steadily since the show was announced. Jury's at Albert Dock (right across from the Echo Arena) has gone from ?150ish to ?349 at the minute... xxxxx
