Plenty of rooms available in Liverpool...PLENTY!!!!!
I'm curious: how can you be sure of that?
Because I have been there multiple times and times when McCartney is playing with MORE going on. What sorr of a question is this?
Liverpool is a tourist destination!
Look, it's time for you to calm down and control your negativity. Sorry there are no concerts in Australia, but it's not my fault. You said there are plenty of rooms available (which I doubt), so I simply asked what is the source of your opinion. However, both of your rather rude and agressive replies are suggesting that the city will be quite busy and rooms will in fact be hard to find, so you're actually agreeing with me and I'll consider my question answered. Thanks!
You raised the mention of my country, not me. Yeah I'm very PO'd and I have vented on the Australia thread, where it is appropriate to do so. Still, I vote with my feet and travel the world to see McCartney. Already seen him twice in Liverpool as it happens and ya know what? I might do again this May. Nothing rude or aggressive in my reply, I can assure you. But you implied I was just shooting off a reply with little or zero knowledge of the city. I know the city of Liverpool well. Been there multiple times. It is a big city and a year round tourist destination. Rooms are not a problem. I just felt your question was, well, somewhat dim. Have a good day.

I did not imply anything. I asked very politely why you said that. It's not my fault you misinterpreted my intention and became enraged.

Me too, so how about we get together at the arena and have a beer?

I'll have a good night, as it's still Friday night over here.

Anyone doing soundcheck? How much is it there?
No prices are posted yet. Interesting that the soundcheck packages do NOT include a reception: Due to the timings of the soundcheck, please note this Experience does not include hospitality. There is a separate hospitality package that does not include soundcheck.
Hospitality with no soundcheck? I wish they would offer soundcheck alone.
You mean just by itself, with no merch or seat?
Yes. In case you go to many shows with souncheck & had multiple backpacks already. lol. Not that I'd want it...just wondering why not.

In answer to the hotel situation. Last time he played the Echo I managed to get into a very decent reasonably priced hotel just weeks before the performance night which was directly across from the arena in Albert Dock, literally 2 minutes walk from the arena. Hotels will not be an issue, Liverpool is a big city fully equipped with enough hotels to house everyone

are they apart of the official website or tour ??
-
Just been made redundant Still going to book tickets in the morning or might even do the soundcheck package with my severance pay!
-

Yes, the VIP packages sold through SloTix are legitimate. You pay for them now and get a confirmation via e-mail. A few days before the concert you will get another e-mail with details.
-
In the venue site says it all seated. Any chance of mistake?

i guess my polite and defusing and helpful (well i thought it was?!) post wasn't wanted... i'll be off then! (need an early night anyway for the ticket stress that will be upon us in the morning!!)
-
Does anyone know what you get for the ticket prices? I mean, does the £135 tickets guarantee a better view? I saw him at this venue the last time - there are no bad seats to be honest, but is it really worth paying extra for a very marginally better seat?
-
Asks Scotland to stay part of the UK, and thanks us by not doing a gig here...

It worked for me. Got a ticket in Section A. It's still working, so do keep trying! By the way, there's no "will call" option. Tickets will be sent in advance by mail.

Logged on spot on 10.am....got the message below An AJAX HTTP error occurred. HTTP Result Code: 503 Debugging information follows. Path: /system/ajax StatusText: Service Unavailable ResponseText: 503 Service Temporarily Unavailable 503 Service Temporarily Unavailable nginx finally got on before 10.01am and the usual no tickets left....Joke! The tickets should have only sold to people who have been registered on this board before the announcement of the concert and not up to 2 hours before. Looks like I'm going to have to pay over the odds now or accept cheaper seats when on general sale.
