Did anybody else find it ironic that Paul had the time with the band to quickly "learn" "Glory Days" but he can't seem to have time to rehearse new songs from "McCartney III" to play on tour.
Nope! Most of us are just enjoying the shows and appreciative when he continues to do fun, different things at 80 years old. Thank you Paul for another great show and fantastic tour!
It certainly was "Another great Show"and a very enjoyable tour for the shows I went to. He had Met Life rocking ! Just hope he keeps on touring even if he plays less dates. IMO No reason to stop.
Happy Fathers Day Guys

Was also in Knoxville. There is definitely stubble LOL.
LetMeRollIt, where the heck were the back gates? Media told everyone to get there early for parking and as a result, there was a huge cluster at all the doors when they opened, and it took ages to get inside. Very disorganized and the heat didn't help. We were there very early for limo watch and then had a ton of time to waste because Paul arrived before 4:30, which is super-early for him. If I had known how bad the doors would be, we would have camped out near one so as to be first in.
Knoxville had a great, loud crowd which Paul acknowledged several times. His voice definitely sounds better live. He did take a drink before the platform solo set, and also took another one right before Live and Let Die.
John - Coming Up gets done in soundcheck sometimes and does sound great with the horn section. It would be fun if he put it into the set.
And it seems that Women and Wives has disappeared; I thought he was doing it on alternate nights, but during a discussion about it after the show, I checked setlist.fm, and it seems that it has not been performed since Fort Worth. Which is disappointing. I am glad I caught it in Seattle (at a show and a soundcheck).
Will see if I can remember anything else unique to Knoxville...
Front row "D", Always happy to see you and the crew!!! As usual, another GREAT concert .

Just read a review from the Winston Salem Show that made me feel good. The writer of the article is from Charlotte and he had a 80 mile drive to get to the show.
Despite the traffic problems and heavy rainstorm before the concert, he loved the show. I didn't realize that "population wise" Winston Salem was such a small area compared to Charlotte. From what the writer said, the capacity for this smaller stadium venue was about 30,000. Paul and Band actually ended up with a crowd of about 33,000 people. They opened up "lawn seats" for only a $40.00 cost that the writer said ended up being some of the best seats in the venue.
Now if that show was within a 100 miles fom me and they had such reasonable priced lawn seats, I would attend in a heartbeat despite having heard most of the songs (from past tours) and hearing many of the same stories in the past. I would just be thrilled being in the same stadium with other fellow Beatle/Paul fans.
Thinking about it further, what "living" music artist can still sell out stadium shows (e.g. Winston Salem, Sofi stadium in Los Angeles etc.) at those kinds of prices. Just a small list that you could count on one hand. That is why I think that Paul McCartney is the greatest.
Good Post and Good points.

I agree with the majority of the people posting here. I am also disappointed that there aren't more changes in the setlist, but at this point, it's just not going to happen. At 80, it's not that Paul can't do it, but I have learned that he won't do it. This is his pattern, it's not changing now. Where I seem to differ with a lot of people is on the newer albums. I own the CD's and I have listened to them. They are good, but they aren't the music that Paul will be remembered for by most people. I don't really care to hear them live in concert. I would love to hear more from the 80's and 90's though. I am a long-time, die-hard fan. I will be seeing Paul for the 30th time this tour. I fear it may be the last. I selfishly want him to end on a high note, while he's still thrilling the fans! I don't want to see him falter.
I really enjoyed your post.I'm a die hard fan who has seen him many many times and I couldn't agree with you more. whatever he plays there will be complaints, we all have our ideas and favorites.

Another GREAT McCartney show in Fort Worth!!!!! In my opinion It's DEFINITELY worth the price of admission, go if you can. Paul's voice was in good form and he seemed to be having a good time. I always look around at the audience while he's singing a song and look at all the happy faces.
I see you changed your profile pic! Cool photo!
Hi Nancy
Yeah, i had that picture of my son up since 2005. I figured i tortured him enough. He's 26 now and he wanted me to change it for a while. The new profile picture was from Cleveland August 17th 2016 .
Thought it looked familiar...
Nice. Glad you had a great show in Fort Worth!
I sent you a PM a while back did you get it?

What's funny is that Paul's soundchecks are longer than the Beatles ever played in concert!
(Hamburg doesn't count! I meant a proper concert.)
And I bet Paul makes way more money from that soundcheck than all 4 of them made back then.
without a doubt!

What a great show in Ft. Worth! Paul looked and sounded great. The visuals were outstanding as well as the sound. The people around me were a mix of "original" fans, twenty somethings, kids and everything in between. I especially loved seeing the younger fans singing along to all the songs. The couple next to me were twenty somethings who had "My Valentine" as their wedding song and it was so sweet to see them singing and swaying to the song. (My wedding song, "Maybe I'm Amazed" came on a few songs later and we enjoyed that together.)
The only negative is Ticketmaster. I paid more than I've ever paid for tickets and had the worst seats I've ever had! And this includes front row center, section in Denver and a VIP experience Kansas City. A young woman standing next to me at the "drive by" (which was amazing because he actually had his car stop!) bought a ticket the day before with a better seat than mine for what I paid. Ticketmaster "released" some tickets.
Oh well, in the end I saw a fantastic show and that's what matters! Go see him if you can!
Front row center anywhere is an impossible ticket, that's awesome!! That must have been some show!
Ft. Worth was a fantastic show!
