Great song... The fire within the furnace shines a light through every pore. Like the stars in the sky... Pin pricks of a roaring sun

Hadn't seen this shot before--it's from the Sgt. Pepper launch party May 19, 1967 held at Brian Epstein's flat. (Linda was there taking pictures) I thought I had the one she took, but I can't find it! Here's another from that day: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v319/njr/Beatles_19May1967.jpg Paul is wearing a T-shirt with Linda's photo from that day (with red clown's noses added to the Beatles!) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v319/njr/Paul%20McCartney%20and%20The%20Beatles/Paul_BeatlesT-shirt.jpg Sorry I had to edit the year: 1967, not 1968! Duh!
How can you recognize where it was just Paul's face?
Because of the clothes he has on and his hair.

Don't know the photo, but it's at Christmas. The legs could belong to Jane or just about any woman! The video has the pic of Paul (with the other 3) in that outfit with the suspenders and cap. (George is dressed like a woman!) That was defintely one of their crazy Christmas shows.
Nancy... what's the story of their crazy Christmas shows? I'm not familiar with them? Sounds like some zany Beatle fun?
Someone who lives in London/England could answer better, but during Christmas for several years (I think '63, '64 and '65) they put on a show (was one year the crazy Shakespeare skit?)

Is Paul in this pic? I found this photo that says it is Paul. Does anyone can tell if it is true?
No! That is not Paul. There are no color photos of him at that age anyway.

Nancy, I think that this pic is the same day.
Yes, but unfortunately it is a backwards (flipped) picture. I hate that when it gets printed wrong!

Please! Who?s this girl, Nancy? http://s2.sscdn.co/uploadfile/letras/fotos/1/3/b/c/13bcbabf1f594679906aeda573f34578.jpg
Eleanor Bron, their co-star in 'Help!' Paul says he named Eleanor Rigby after her.

I found in color this pic, on the same site that other. http://s2.sscdn.co/uploadfile/letras/fotos/b/6/3/5/b63560991692316f2d086ddd4ffb9076.jpg
Yes, it is the first color pic of The Quarrymen, John was 17, Paul still 15 and George was 14, or maybe had just turned 15. Mike McCartney took this photo.

Pic was taken June 25, 1967, same day as this which was the Our World premiere of All You Need Is Love: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v319/njr/Paul%20McCartney%20and%20The%20Beatles/June251967.jpg

This pic looks like the b&w photo (you posted it here many pages back) of them in Paris late 1963, having a pillow fight on one of the beds.

Funny pic! http://s2.sscdn.co/uploadfile/letras/fotos/d/0/8/5/d085892bde88e0bd3bd0bae94f042117.jpg
That pic is from the same photoshoot as the cover of the American album, "Beatles VI."

Just some fan.

I love that medley of songs. After my Dad died a long time ago when I was young, I would listen to this song and think of him. I would lay in bed and listen to Paul's voice and think my Dad would tell me the same. It helped me many days and nights since then and I still do it. Just like I am sure alot of songs mean many things to many people. Now it kinda makes me think of other things/people as time goes on...

Thank you so much, I had seen the Shakespeare production... I just never realized that it was a Christmas show! Will try to find some of these now that I know to put in Beatles Christmas show on You Tube!

Alda, I've really enjoyed the videos... tonight the music has been helping to block out the sound of the wind and rain... it sounds like another Hurricane, so I've been glad to listen to Paul's music instead. I especially enjoyed all of the Fireman videos and rehearsal and backstage videos. So nice to see the early Beatles as well. The picture of Paul when he first was in the Quarrymen... so young and innocent looking... I'm enjoying many which I've not seen before. And some of the videos from You Tell Me...

Please, Nancy! Do you know who's this girl?
I've seen this pic before and I can't remember who she is. I know it's not Dot Rhone (Paul's girlfriend then). Maybe she's Rory Storme's girfriend. If I find out I'll let you know.
