Well, what do you expect Paul's other re-issues to look like (packaging, tracklisting, etc.)? Would be nice to see your suggestions! My suggestion for a nice "Flowers in the Dirt"-package would be: Flowers in the Dirt - Deluxe Edition: cd 1: 1. "My Brave Face" (Paul McCartney/Declan MacManus) ? 3:18 2. "Rough Ride" ? 4:43 3. "You Want Her Too" (McCartney/MacManus) ? 3:11 4. "Distractions" ? 4:39 5. "We Got Married" ? 4:57 6. "Put It There" ? 2:07 7. "Figure of Eight" ? 3:25 8. "This One" ? 4:10 9. "Don't Be Careless Love" (McCartney/MacManus) ? 3:18 10. "That Day Is Done" (McCartney/MacManus) ? 4:19 11. "How Many People" ? 4:14 12. 12. "Motor of Love" ? 6:18 13. "Ou est le Soleil?" ? 4:45 cd 2: 1. "Back on My Feet" (McCartney/MacManus) ? 4:24 2. ?Once Upon a Long Ago? 3. "Flying to My Home" ? 4:15 4. "Loveliest Thing" ? 3:58 5. ?The First Stone? 6. ?I Wanna Cry? 7. "The Long and Winding Road" (Lennon/McCartney) - 3:51 8. "Loveliest Thing" - 3:59 9. "Rough Ride" - 4:53 10. "Ou est le Soleil (7" Mix)" - 4:50 11. "Mama's Little Girl" - 3:41 12. "Same Time Next Year" - 3:06 13. "Party, Party" - 5:35 14. "P.S. Love Me Do" (McCartney/Lennon) - 3:40 15. Good idea! But I'd replace Momma's Little Girl and Same Time Next Year (which belong on Wings-era reissues) with stuff recorded during the 'Flowers' sessions but which came out years later, like Same Love and Love Mix. Also, why not stick the videos for 'We Got Married', 'Ou Est Le Soleil' and the second version of 'This One' on the DVD?

Can't fault that one! I guess the video for 'Once Upon A Long Ago' should go on the 'Flowers' DVD as well, though.

The Groove Mix mix for "Good Sign" should be there as well as the Disconet version of "Ou Est Le Soleil" plus I believe there's one more mix for "Ou Est Le Soleil".

Thank you for the information! You are right, of course - there's a rare "disconet edit" of "ou est le soleil". I did not know that these mixes existed. ops: Also, I put "Don't Break the Promises" on CD 2. I believe we've got a nice "flowers in the dirt - deluxe set" now. I hope that the guys at Concord Music will release a similar version - maybe even improve & extend it with outtakes & live appearances, tv show appearances, etc.! Flowers in the Dirt - Deluxe Edition: cd 1: flowers in the dirt - the album 1. "My Brave Face" (Paul McCartney/Declan MacManus) ? 3:18 2. "Rough Ride" ? 4:43 3. somewhere on the 'flowers' set should be the first version to 'dont be careless love'. its like a different song altogether from the horribly over cooked album version. even a cleaned up mix of the 'demo' itself would be a valuable add

Well if we're including unreleased things then we should definitely get the original unmixed version of "Good Sign" as only remixes were released for that one. But I'd rather see these Deluxe releases stick to songs that were actually released. Save the others for the box.

"Talk More Talk" (remix by McCartney and Jon Jacobs) 4. "Hanglide" 5. "Press" (dub mix) 6. "Pretty Little Head" (remix by John Potoker) 7. "It?s not true" (7? mix) 8. "Angry" (remix by Larry Alexander) 9. Spies Like Us" 10. "Spies Like Us" (party remix by John Potoker) 11. "Spies Like Us" (remix by Art of Noise) 12. "Spies Like Us" (DJ version) dvd: 1. spies like us 2. press 3. stranglehold 4. pretty little head 5. only love remains 6. the paul mccartney special (tv special, 1986) 7. the prince?s trust party (3 songs: ?get back?, ?long tall sally?, ?I saw her standing there?)

the 'paul mccartney tv special' is pretty inconclusive with no full songs.the princes trust thing is pretty dreadfull and i cant believe his live performance of 'only love remains' at 'the tube' or indeed the 'royal variety' havent been included!. once again not alot to get too excited about here. looks like i will be buying for completist reasons not for sheer excitment!

Uh, these are all just suggestions, not the actual track listings.

Here I go again: My suggestion for a "Press to Play" Deluxe Edition. What's missing?

Off the top of my head would be the 7" mix of "It's Not True". Plus, "My Carnival" belongs on the Venus and Mars deluxe set.

hi, thank you - i didn't know about a 7" mix of "It's not true"!

The 7" mix is actually very different to the other versions with an additional guitar part, different drums and a more laid back sound.
