As YouTube began coming into age, I've pretty much started to steer clear of bootleg albums...but yesterday was an exception to that unwritten rule - and I'm glad I did this. The set I bought yesterday is called 'Paul McCartney - Wells Fargo Break In' (a live CD of Paul's appearance at the Wells Fargo Center in Philly back on Aug 15, 2010)...excellent show and while there were some exceptions to this, overall his voice didn't show the wear and tear of his age (as I hear on some other YouTube performances - which further proves my overall theory that Paul's voice isn't slipping quite as much as we predicted, but conversely is not as resiliant to recovering from the strains of a tired vocal...catch him on a good day and he sounds surprisingly good while on a bad day, he sounds 'old') Anyway - the highlights for me include the songs I missed since I didn't catch any shows from this tour (which is what prompted me to buy it in the first place)...Venus and Mars/Rockshow, 1985, Letting Go, Ram On and a few Beatles songs I've seen him perform before, but not on a regular basis (I've Just Seen A Face, And I Love Her - I've never heard him perform I'm Looking Through You Before)...Also it was pretty amusing to hear his antics during the beginning of Live and Let Die - not sure if it was a flub or if he was having fun...but basically, he played the entire sequence of chords for a complete measure (which is a G, Bm, C and D) before he started the vocals, then started laughing through out part of 'When we were young' lyric. Of course all the 'new-ness' was reserved for the first half of the CD (Live and Let Die moment aside) while the second half remained true to the standard fare it has been for the past few years. Lastly, I'm also impressed with today's technology because this was clearly an audience recording and it sounds extremely good (sound quality wise) given that. I remember buying an audience recording for a 1989 concert and it sounded like I was interrupting on someone's conversation as Paul McCartney music played in the background...LOL...but anyway, overall I'm pleased. This store was down in Hyannis, on Cape Cod, where my family and I had taken a day trip yesterday and I may have go back...There were several other concert CDs I was interested in, including the show in Liverpool from back in 2008, which opened with Hippy Hippy Shake (I think that's the title) and the song "Liverpool" was performed - I take a lot of spring trips to the cape to seal watch down in Chatham and that would make the perfect excuse to stop in to browse

Thanks a lot for that - it almost falls into that catagory of 'it's nice to put a face with the voice' kind of thing

As an aside to my last post, I'm Looking Through You is listed on the CD case but is not on this set (I presume it wasn't played that night). Conversely, I've Just Seen a Face isn't listed on the CD case, but is on the CD itself...LOL I think he did play I'm looking Through You on some dates during that tour, though

Paul actually alternated those two songs on the Up and Coming Tour. I'm Looking Through You was played the previous night in Philly.
