Ah yes, thank you. But I just have one problem. It's that I have a tablet
And then I received this message:Your post has been edited by an administrator for the following reason
Quoted picture removed. Please refrain from quoting pictures in our posts! Can someone please explain to me?
thank you
Little Willow to answer your question about quoted picture removed, as I was getting a lot of those messages as well. I was so careful to not quote messages with pictures, or to make sure I did remove them. Still, I continued to get those warnings. I'm thinking that it has to do with using my emojis from my phone, or I also noticed that at times, some people had a frame that was not visible initially, unless you clicked inside their quote, so it might have been that. When I wrote to Calico Skies per NancyR' s good suggestion, CS told me those warnings could be delayed, which made it harder to figure out what I was getting dinged for.

That was a beautiful picture of Nancy and Paul. Glad someone also posted the photo because you cannot look at a Pinterest photo unless you are signed up for it.
Don't understand the problem with quoting peoples comments!? Facebook lets you, Twitter let's you, I've even seen it on other boards! It's been done for years on here. Perhaps a newer and better format could be adopted as others have suggested, The dashboard could get updated to let you know WHAT message someone had replied to you about and that you could always see if someone had sent you a private message. I've seen many people post about these and other issues with no obvious response. It is a bit puzzling. Personally I cannot post any photos here. Don't know if it's because I'm on a phone, but someone should take a look at improving this IMHO. We are spending more time on here with the lockdowns.

^ Re: posting photos, like I said, the only way I know how is through Photobucket. I still can't figure out how oobu sometimes sees a photo online and copies and posts it here without using a photo-sharing site. ️

On my pc I can right click on a pic, choose "copy" & then I paste here by using ctrl/v

Wow! They are beautiful. Really, they're a perfect couple.

I see! I never knew you could do that even when I used to use my laptop!

I'm trying something...
HA! It worked! I "clicked" (or rather tapped) on your photo, selected Copy Photo, and then pasted it here!!

Has it worked? On my PC monitor I'm just seeing a tiny whatyoucallit (?) that indicates where a photo should have appeared.

Ah, thank you very much. The problem is that I had created a neutral message. It wasn't an answer. That's where I don't get it.
Then I also use a telephone. Maybe that is also a problem.

Yes indeed. I see the same thing.:)

I don't see anything either Nancy.

The "30 minute rule" strikes again! It was there and disappeared after 30 minutes! 🤬

I sure wish these "problems" that we have been complaining about for ages would be reported. But no, we just have quoted pics deleted. Are any of these problems even known by those in the know?

If they are, they don't seem to care. ️

I wonder if it's not some kind of protection?

What do you mean exactly? I think the only reason they don't want us to quote photos is so that the pages will load faster.
(which is crazy because that would only be a problem in the past when some people still had dial-up!)

Blups. I hadn't thought of that. But we have changed times. They seem to be lagging behind. Unless it takes too long to update everything. Lazy? Or lack of money and personnel?
As for my idea, I'm thinking more about the right to an image.

Nah, it's not that. I made my suggestion because that was a problem on another forum I was on years ago and they wouldn't let us quote photos because of that. We kept saying "Nobody has dial-up anymore!" Or it could be that all those extra quoted photos would take up too much space on this website and they don't want that. Who knows? They never tell us why. They're probably upset about your huge Fender photo in your signature area!

. Ah, right.
Sorry, but this is my favourite brand. I have a Fender ukulele with a Stratecaster head. I love it. Especially the style of their instrument. Otherwise, if I'm the problem, why are they blocking you?Or they don't like the singer of the Rasmus.

Getting back to the thread's topic...
