After the travesty that was Wingspan, what would you put onto a 2 CD compilation of Wings best music? Also pick a title too, should be fun. I'll post back once mine's been put together, should be interesting to compare everybody's choices.

I thought Wingspan was a pretty good overview, except for the Venus and Mars/Rock Show edit. That deserved the full version. Could have been a triple CD though.

Too many non Wings songs for my liking, it's like Paul thought there wasn't enough good Wings songs to feature on it which isn't the case.

A CD has 80 minutes playing time, so you have a lot of music you can put on 2 CD's. No song limits, just time limits.
Long as Wings recorded it it's allowed, official live or official recordings only. -

Is this because you can't pick a high number of Wings song to make a compilation double CD.?
I pick n' choose when it comes to Wings. Solo-Macca is where I tend to be a completist.
Plus, these are my faves. -

Quite a few of your tracks are on my list too, so more in common than not. I might burn a 2 CD of my tracks, and design a cover too just for a laugh. -

I might burn a 2 CD of my tracks, and design a cover too just for a laugh.I know there is a bit of a cult following for Don't Let It Bring You Down, and I do like it as London Town is a superb album. Very under-rated. I'm just not mad on it, not like other tracks. I do however, have Jet Boycie. Its part of my V&M/Rockshow/Jet opener from WOA. I thought it was good to start with Wings really at their peak, in what was their best line-up and with one of the best world tours ever. Then to go back to the start. We do seem to share alot of similar tracks. Thats an idea too, might have to do that when I get home. Wingspan was just a let down because it was just solely wings.
