I arrived very early, but I did not get in until 4pm, missing seeing (but I did hear) Paul and Bono, U2, Coldplay, Dido and Stereophonics. This is because they were all busy and I had t get my VIP pass. I was in the Golden Circle and ended up in the second row. I got some great photos, including 8 of Paul alone, 1 og Paul and George Michael and 1 of Rusty. I am having them developed on Monday but I can't scan them sadly, so sorry about that. I did not get to pee for 20 hours, I had nothing to eat since yesterday and I passed out (but refused to let them remove me). Annie Lennox sounded superb, and I enjoyed Madonna's performance too. Pink Floyd was the second biggest highlight; the best being Paul.

Lauren, if you can't scan the photos could you find someone else to scan them for you, or do you have a place near you that scans photos for a small price? It would be cool to see those pictures. Oh I'd die to have been there to see Paul and Pink Floyd. Oh and The Who too.

I know!! And when Bob Geldof performed, he got a tear in his eye; he is such a wonderful person. I have no access to a scanner so I won't be able to scan the photos, sadly.

You are so lucky, Lauren. I'd have given anything to have been at Hyde Park yesterday? How did you score those VIP tickets?

I had to laugh at the part where you passed out but wouldn't let them take you out- I can't blame you, I would be the same way! Hope you have recovered today. It's great that you got to be there.

Way to go Lauren! Like others mentioned, you witnessed some pretty cool history. I watched most of it and am glad it went so well. I also watched a bit of what went on in Philly.....I really appreciate Will Smith's words. But anyway, what a thrill for you Lauren. Just how close to the stage did you manage to get? Wouldn't let them remove your passed out body....hysterical! Did you have a note attached to your body giving instructions?

Way cool on ya! When you take your film to be developed, get it put on a CD - should only be a few extra $$ or pounds. Then upload them and you can send them as attachments or imbed them in e-mails.

That's great. I was in the General Admission, and managed to get a good location off to the side, so I could see the stage with my binoculars for most of the first 3-4 hours. then, towards the end of the afternoon, it got so packed with people, that I could only see the screen. But, it was a mixed blessing. I figured that since I could only see the screen, I might was well get out of there, have something to eat, take a piss, and watch from the back, which I did. I hate watching the screen, because it is like watching a video, but the vibe during Paul's set was amazing. I may be a bit jaded, but since I've seen it so many times before, I had hoped that he wouldn't resort to the fadeout of Hey Jude as the finale. Oh well, it certainly does the trick. Left my hotel at 10:30 a.m., got back at 1:00 in the morning.
