Hi, Diana. The whole time difference thing makes it difficult for everyone to be here at once doesn't it, but it's wonderful that Brian has such international appeal! Hugs back to you. Hope your course is going well with all the hard work you're doing!

Fi, I don't know if i ever told you that one of my fave parts of my 2 weeks in Ireland was the "full Irish" we ate every morning for breakfast! My mom and i still laugh about the 12 kinds of meat served with eggs and 37 kinds of bread. YUMMMM.... Funnier still was traveling in Ireland with my 2 sisters, one of whom is a vegan and the other a veggie - i think the vegan lived on french fries for 2 weeks We'd go out to eat dinner and she'd ask "what is your vegetable for tonight" and it never failed, the waitress would say ... POTATOES !!!!!!!!!!!! so she'd wind-up with another big bowl of "champ" for dinner - we still make that sometimes too!
Hi Sue! What part of Ireland were you in? Most good bars and restaurants these days have a pretty decent veggie selection [and not just potatoes!!].

Thanks, Caro. Hi Fi! Yes, the more you closer to the end the harder it is getting. I'm almost counting the days till the end. ops: Countdowns always good for the mood, aren't they? How are you, student? How the studing is going?

OH! Darling:
WOW...that is fab. Great work Marie! Can you imagine the whole band as cartoon characters? Saturday morning would never be the same!
LOL!!!!! Brilliant idea!!
Ya know......maybe that's an idea we should work on! With our vivid imaginations, cartoon storylines should be limitless!!!! Marie and I can do the artwork. Let's see........now......who could we get to do the voices??? Any ideas, anyone???
I don't know about the voices, but any good TV show needs an official website!
Great idea! I hope the voices are act by themselves. ops: Do I have to paint whole band members? Does anyone do it instead of me? I'm going to post Rusty's cartoon picture to his thread by now! But...am I too late to come? What I say is little off the point?

Hang in there - it'll be worth it one day. My courses are great. Going to class straight after work is a bit tiring sometimes, but I'm getting used to it. It's all very interesting and I'm very glad I decided to go back to college. Who knows what it will lead to?

Marie, I'm afraid you missed the major "blitz" that was going on, but you're always welcome whenever you arrive! So you like the idea of a cartoon? Wouldn't it be fun? No, you wouldn't have to do all the artwork. I'm an artist too. My degree is in Commercial Art, but I do all sorts of things. I'm hoping to start up a mural business one day. I love doing murals! Diana, sorry I missed you. We haven't chatted in a while. Between your studying and my computer problems, we never see each other any more! Hope you all have a wonderful week, ladies. Love y'all!!!!!!!

Hi Fi - my sisters and I took my mom to Ireland for her 60th birthday 3 years ago - her family is from County Clare. We rented a car and circumnavigated your whole country! Didn't I ever tell you the story of the time we parked our car in Cork and it got towed? with all our luggage and shopping inside!!! It was, as my mother says, "the trip of a lifetime". Can't wait to go back!!! Then there was the time we stopped at a McDonald's for lunch cause we found out they sell veggie burgers...and when we tried to pay, we discovered we had crossed into Northern Ireland and didn't know it - they looked at the pound sterling bills we tried to pay with like it was money from Mars !!! HILARIOUS!

The cartoon idea is not bad That would be fun But it's...very hard to make animation, isn't it? I might be able to draw comic (MANGA!) immediately ! if it were a scenarios. Are you a commercial artist? That's great!WOW I'm learning to be a graphic designer or a illutrator. Probably : I will matriculate in a college of art on next April. (In Japan,a new school term begin on April.)
