Thanks to you all for the kind welcome. I'm sure I made a better lurker than I will a poster, but we'll see...... Caro Ro Fi Di......and Scooby. I can just see you four in your cherry-red, mystery-solving, super-hero spandex outfits sleuthing your way through the message board maze.....trusty Scooby snacks in hand as you attempt to decipher who hoooooo'd and who wooooooo'd. Nice visual, huh? grin PS This is a nice thread y'all........very classy......very sweet...... Brian's a lucky rock star!

There's a FANTASTIC interview with Brian in the latest issue of PaulMcCartney.fm magazine. It's well worth ordering a copy. He talks a lot about his early career and how he came to work with Etta James. He also talks about how he got to know Rusty and Abe. You can order a copy at http://www.paulmccartney.fm

Hi, everyone on this thread!! I missed you so much! I'm sorry, I had been occupied with many jobs so I couldn't post. I have to say this first.. I'm the one of them who are waiting "the big day"!! I'm so excited about it but I'm not sure, I'm waiting his reply. Katinka! Thank you for your post of Bridge photos!! They are so nice and Brian looks gorgeous and lovely. His blond is beautiful!! Because I'm Asian so feel strongly, maybe, but he is beautiful. Fi, thank you for the info. And it's so cute! Here for you!
-
Hi Miho! Gosh, I thought you were going to post that the interview is ready!! Anyway, I'm glad you liked the pics as much as I did.

"Each One Believing" arrived today. WOW!!! WOW!!! WOW!!! There is so much in this book! I've flicked through it several times and I see something new each time. There's a lot of reading in it, more than I expected, which was a very pleasant surprise. Some of the snippets of conversations between the band are hilarious!!! The pre-show will never be the same again? It really does give a whole new perspective of what it?s like to be on the road with Paul. Oh - there are lots and lots of gorgeous photos of Paul and the band, too!!!

Maybe if you shout a little louder, the postman will hear you. It'll be worth the wait. I'll probably be bored with mine by the time yours arrives [NOT].

IT'S ARRIVED!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh my word, I don't know where to start. I've only really had a chance to flick through and check out the photographs. There are some terrific ones. My current fave is one of Brian and Rusty with two policemen - LOL!! I can't wait to have a proper read of it. What a great book! I love the layout...much more writing than I expected, too.

I am really enjoying this book. I love all the little Brian excerpts. **SPOILER** Here's a good quote from a page about questions that the band have been asked: Reporter: When is the best time to go naked? Brian: In the shower. LOL - that's almost worthy of The Beatles. There are some other funny ones too, including a great one from Wix.

LOL!!! I thought that comment would have been right at home in A Hard Day's Night! I was surprised at the amount of reading in it, too. I just exepcted it to be mainly photographs - not that that would have bothered me! There are some amazing ones. I love the one of Brian and Rusty with the policemen that you mentioned earlier. There are two really lovely ones of the band lined up beside a car - WOW!!!

I KNOW!!!!! It took me a while to notice the writing on THAT page! There's a great pic on the page where the band show 'advanced aesthetic taste' where Brian and Abe are laughing at something - it's lovely. The Colosseum section is nice. I love what he says about the exorcising ghosts idea.

I know the one you mean - it's a great photo. Bill is so good at capturing the moment.

I haven't come across the bit about the Colosseum yet. What page is it on?

Well, I just happen to have it to hand! p136. And, just in case you have your book anywhere nearby check out Brian's dream on p28. Love him to bits!
