So,hope you don't mind me asking, but how do you put a picture under your name on the left side of the page ? Is it very difficult to do ?
It's not difficult, it works in a similar way to posting a photo on the thread. You will need to resize the photo you want to use to around 125 pixels x 155 pixels [but you can go a little bigger than that]. Then you'll need to upload it to the same place you uploaded your Rusty photos to. Then just go to your profile and copy and paste the link into the place at the bottom that says "Link to off-site Avatar". And Bob's your uncle!
Thanks Fiona, I will have a try !!

It took a few goes, but i got there in the end. Thanks for your help Does your job involve working with computers ? or is it just an interest of yours ? Anyway you are very good at explaining things ( to someone who used to know nothing about them ! )

ops: Thanks! No, I don?t do this sort of thing for a living, although I'd love to and I'm currently doing a web design course by night. It's something I'd like to maybe do part-time eventually. My "real" job is with an auctioneering firm - I think you call them either estate agents or realtors in the UK[?]

Thanks . There were so many nice photos on the Brian Ray site that it was hard to pick one ! The concert ones were great and the beach ones too. And the one of little baby Max dressed in his halloween suit was so sweet, you could just give him a cuddle. Anyway I think i have got the hang of the avatars now.

Newsletter from Brian: Hello friends, near and far.... I'm basking in the afterglow of an amazing day in the studio. Yesterday, at Eldorado studios in Burbank, I recorded 2 new tracks for my new CD. With Abe Laboriel and Scott Shriner, from Weezer, we cut a new one which I wrote with Abe on Monday called "Night is Callin'" and a ballad I wrote about a week ago called "Now I Know". The day was fun and fast and we laughed our asses off all day. "Night" is a fairly ferocious rocker, with Abe exorcising some demons on his vintage Ludwig/Leedy drumkit, and Scott punishing his 1960 Fender bass through an old '70s Ampeg SVT [details for those who care!]. I played my old '57 Goldtop LP through a '59 Fender Bassman and '58 Gibson GA40 amps..It sounded a bit angry[!]... On the ballad I used a 1955 LP Junior which I bought [with Abe] in Lyon, France, in 1998.. The sound engineer, Joe Zook, is so talented, his sounds are... amazing. Man.. these are the days! Watch this space, ok? Take care, Brian http://www.brian-ray.com
