I am really excited at the moment, because next week I am going to New York for 4 days with my sons.We had booked it a long time ago, but I was not sure if I would be possible to still go with everything that had happened recently. But now I am going and i can't wait to see all the decorations and especially the tree in Rockafella Center.I saw it once before and it was so beautiful . I also can't wait to do lots of shopping !! ( well i think it will be good exercise for my hand, thats my excuse anyway ! and i am sticking to it. ) So roll on monday Sorry if i have gone on and on,but i am really happy.

That's great, Dawn. I saw all the New York lights on tele a couple of weeks ago and they looked so spectacular. Have a wonderful time.

hi Dawn - great timing for your NYC trip!!! I moved to AZ from the NYC area 10 months ago and i miss it terribly, esp. at this time of year. You will have a blast! I don't know if you have Starbucks Coffee Shops where you live, but i have one tip for you when you get to NYC - "Egg Nog Latte" !!!!!!!!! The most awesome coffee drink ever, i wait all year for it! Sip some while you enjoy the Rockefeller tree for me while i stare at the saguaro cactuses with Xmas lights on them

Dawn, I just returned from NYC and the city is gorgeous!! Don't miss the Rocka-center tree and all the surrounding decor. Also, make your way down Madison Ave & 5th Ave to see the stores at night. What a treat! Cartier was my favorite. Bloomingdales and Bergdorf Goodman windows are not to be missed. If you get a chance, see the city from the Empire State Bldg at night. It's beautiful! Have a great time!!

You are so right about that! it's just spectacular...you keep looking and looking and can't take your eyes off it. You forget how cold and windy it gets up there. I'll take some snaps of the "Desert Xmas Trees" for you and post them here

Roll It:
And I want to add P174 it is took in Japan.
i know the one you mean Miho. I love that one too. There was a "Back In The World" special on TV last year which showed a clip of them standing beside that little pond, but it was too brief to see properly. the photo is much better.
Roll It:
P118 left one is my favorite too. I saw this photo on tour pamphlet, it's bigger than "Each". Don't you think that Brian is sexy?
-
Roll It:
I like all photo of Paul and Heather together, they seems very happy and I feel happiness, too.
Me too, the one on p163 is a beautiful photo. They make a lovely couple.

I can believe you have Christmas lights on saguaro cactus! In Southern California, they wrap palm trees in Christmas lights! That is taking some getting used to, I can tell you! And I want to know how they get to the tops of some of those trees to put up the lights! They are really tall! What about those of you in other countries where Christmas is celebrated? Do any of you have outside Christmas lights and decorations? How do y'all celebrate? I love learning other customs from you.

Dawn:
But also mentioned a lot through the thread were Fiona's site and Brian Q&A, which everyone said were really good, but i have tried getting onto the site but i can't seem to find it. Can anyone tell me how to find it ,as curiosity is getting the better of me and i would love to read them Thanks
You can now read it at Brian's site. It's a great Q & A - still made me smile even though I know the answers!!!!
