I have to say, Brian's voice sounds different than what I expected it to sound like. I still like it though. I think I was surprised when I heard Rusty's album for the first time too. Wouldn't it be cool if Brian and Rusty play the same venue on the same night? Sharon

I know what you mean. I wasn't sure what to expect Brian's voice to sound like but I love it.

That would be absolutely the coolest, Sharon! And wouldn't it be especially great for those of us who live in the LA area??? Think we'd have to make that one, don't you???

You mean you can't pick Brian's voice out of the background on Back in the US??? Shame on you, Fiona!

ops: I'm not good at that sort of thing. Caroline even sent me headphones for my birthday to listen properly, but I still couldn't make him out. But hey - we have "real" Brian music now!!

I can't believe y'all!!! I can almost always tell Brian's voice from the others! Good for Caroline! Glad to hear she was trying to get you straightened out, Fiona! Use those headphones regularly! But, nothing is as good as hearing HIS voice doing HIS songs! He's great! How many more days until that CD comes out????? I just can't wait!

Message from Brian: Hi everybody, Thank you for your emails regarding my upcoming CD. I'm in the "last lap" here on preparations for its release now. It may be released a bit later than I thought due to manufacturing... Stay tuned! As for now, you can download one new song from the record at the new ?Music? section on my site. And you may select a higher sample quality if you wish at this site: http://www.soundclick.com/brianray There is also a message board there where you can write a review, so if you have a moment, let 'em know. Thanks for the support, Brian
Hi Fiona,I found the place to leave a messege about the song, but on other threads people were saying that there is a place to vote for the song too. Anyway i looked but i can't find it ?[probably just me doing something wrong ]but do you know where it would be? Thanks for your help
-
hi Dawn - click on the link as if you were going to download the song from Sounclick, and right after the paragraph describing the song, you'll see some links such as "Tell A Friend", "Discuss", etc and at the end of that section you'll see "Your vote" and you click on your choice, either HOT or FLOP!

Brian's now ranked at #181 - i wonder how many times we have to listen to get him to #1?? Yesterday, he was 203 so he's moving up in the charts! Can you tell i've been bored at work?

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY EVERYONE !!
-
Happy V-Day to you, too Ina! Great news! Did anyone watch the Grammy's last night? Etta James won for Best Traditional Blues LP for Blues to the Bone. This is the same album that Brian played the Sky is Crying along with a few others. I wonder if anything else he has been a part of has won this type of recognition. Congrats!!
