Post Anything You Want Thread!

I know everything. So, what did you sell?
-
Old clothes I never wore, books I?m too old for, games, crap that I?m amazed anyone bought. I got more money than I should have for the stuff I sold though, my Grandad put all the money for his stuff, my aunt and my parents together and split it equally.
-
So, what are you going to do with that $100?
-
Put it in "The fund" under my bed with the other $500 I've got so far. (um, are you patronising me as much as it sounds like?)
-
No, if I wanted to condescend you, I sure as hell wouldn't go this lightly. So, you're not going to spend it?
-
Ok, just makin sure. Not yet. I've mannaged to not spend any money since last August with the exception of Christmas presents...and my Dad's birthday, but I used my lunch money for that.
-
Ah, O.K., I thought you were going to use some of that to buy "Meat Is Murder," or something.
-
Nope, it's too close to me and Dad's "Music days". At the start of ever summer we go to the music store at the cottage and he'll get me pretty much whatever I want.
-
And you don't have to pay a dime for anything?
-
Nope. But I never get too much. I start to feel bad after a couple Cds and some new picks.
-
So, you buy CD's only during the summer, usually?
-
No, I get alot at christmas, and my birthday's in the winter, and easter and stuff (or if we go into TO for anything). I'll probably get one if I win the triathalon on tuesday though, so I might be able to get it then, but our music store really sucks. Hehehe, Dad's gonna be somewhat suprised this year when I take that sweet left-handed guitar off the wall and ask him to pay the taxes.
-
Yeah, I was known to splurge on CD's. Especially when I got into the Beatles. I've spent so much money on that band, it's ridiculous.
-
I've got all the ones they realeased in Canada though, and I know what you mean. That's one of the main reasons I hate asking my Dad for things. If he sees anything remotly Beatle related he'll get it for me. My room is full. Not complaining, but I just don't know what to say when he gives it to me. There's this guy at the place where my music lessons are who said he's got too much Beatles stuff and he needs to get rid of it though, so he's gonna give it to me. . . this could break my guitar fund though. . .
-
Well, he could always give them to me.
But I've spend at least thousands of dollars on the Beatles. CD's, LP's, DVD's, etc., etc. But like you, I'm not complaining about it.

Our trips to The Beatlemania Shoppe are insane!
It's so great! I got a pic of them at Maple Leaf Gardens, and it shows the old penalty clocks in the background! I know I watch way too much Maple Leaf Classic, but they're so great! They only show one minute, so when they get to the second minute of the penalty, they turn pink!
I have at least. .. oh jeez, well, uh, a lot.
-
Yeah, the Beatles shop where I live is about 45 miles from where I'm at, but I know the owner well, and where my Dad worked, his company was supposed to publish this guy's book. Tons of stuff there, and I always get discount. Found some Paul CD's (i.e. "London Town," "Press To Play") there, which are out of print in the U.S. But where I really spent a lot of my money was on eBay. I was literally addicted to that site.
-
That's why I don't have a credit card.
-
Yeah, it's usually for the best.
-
Yeah, see this is where we run into the problem Jordan and I were having in the Hockey Thread.
