... and I'm supposed to be "unemployed"... it's surprising to see how many things one can do while not having a job...
Anyone catch your eye at the singles meet up?

YAY!! My ballot arrived in the mail today!! I'm pretty sure my state's paltry number of electoral votes will be "blue" as usual, but I always throw in my two cent's worth. I figure the rule should be if you don't vote you can't bitch...and heaven knows I like my bitchin
people who wants other to vote say that I don't vote and I bitch a lot. I actually think that if "you vote you can not bitch", cause you're agreeing with "The game", but I don't want you to believe it, it's just my way of seeing it.
I'm agree with Tina on that if you don't vote you can't bitch why do you think your opinium is inportant : if you don't have an opinium when it is inportant :
Do you think voting for the same old 2 parties on TV is really having an opinion? I have an opinion, I don't like those politicians, they're not like me, I don't trust them, they don't resonate with me, etc. etc. etc. Voting is like the stock market, based on the majority and media... the wiser points of view are meant to be always a minority. Don't get me started! For instance, in the USA, states with a higher IQ average (like New York) vote for the candidate with higher IQ, and the ones with lower IQ average ( )... yes, vote for the one with lower IQ. I'm not into that game, thank you. "Don't follow leaders, watch your parking meters"

How should "the game" be played? How do you propose to chose officials or decide civic matters? ....War? Royal birth? Religious leader? Rock,Paper,Scissors???? I am saddened and angered by how few people vote in the US...a country founded on people's rights . I am doubly pissed off by how few women vote. Women who don't vote are spitting on the graves of those who fought so hard for the 19th amendment and should be ashamed to let those brave women down. This year there are more people registered to vote in Oregon than ever before, but it's still a far cry from everyone who is eligible

You should play "the game" just as you want it to be played. I'm not gonna tell you how. How do you behave in your everyday life is far more important than that thing called "vote". I'm not gonna propose a thing, and if I did it would be a minority point of view, so rejected. I only don't want to join it. I am saddened and angered by how few people vote in the US...a country founded on people's rights . I am doubly pissed off by how few women vote. well, in Spain it's even harder cause this was a dictatorial regimen till 1977. Since then we are a voting democracy, so guess how many blood there was in the Spanish Civil War and, milions of people and more before the democracy. Yet I'm not gonna vote. Democracy or the possibility to vote is better than any dictatorial regime. So it's great that people have the possibility to vote. I like democracy but I don't like politicians on the main parties, I can't vote for them. I know that majority's gonna decide the winner and that I'm not gonna like them, yet they're better than a dictatorial regime. But that doesn't make them good enough for me to give them my approval in being my representatives. They don't represent me at all. I can not give them that power. If I was in Portland I wouldn't vote either. Sorry but I can't go with someone like McCain or Obama. In the end my vote matters kind of the 0.0000000001 % or so... it's not to worth to waste so many time hearing things like the "But you're worse" etc. : Not even if it was 1%. I even can't stand them when they appear on TV, how the heck I am gonna vote them?

so what? they are minority parties... what's the use? well I understand you all, some years ago (when I was 20) I though just like you, that if you can't vote you can't complain, etc. now that I know more about political parties... I think they're not worth the vote

hey, I'm open-minded, maybe someday I'll vote again. Actually I did somewhat recently but it was needed that Spain was into a war. Still I believe that for instance, where you spend your money and who receives it is far more important that who you vote. ... quantcast.com says I've got the same number of visits I thought to have, still I've added an anti-robots thing and maybe I'll notice if some of my visits are not people.

If you really want the album I can upload it for you and send it by pm.
I'd love it!! I tried iTunes and the rest to no avail. They really should sell on CDBaby, lots of international bands are on there and now they sell mp3 downloads too so a band doesn't have to have a physical cd in their warehouse.
I've got a better idea; I make a copy and send it to you.

Do you still know the Dutch radio program Deja Vu? Tonight a man put Flaming Pie in the List Of Honor. Would you please be so kind to vote on Flaming Pie (the rules are changed. In the past we had to vote on the album that had to leave the list, now we have to vote on the album that we want to stay in the list) Here's the link: http://dejavu.kro.nl/eregalerij.aspx
voted for Flaming Pie
Thanks for voting. Till now it has most of the votes. If Flaming Pie stays in the list I will ask every week to vote as long as it stays in the list.

Just popping in for a quick "hey, y'all", as I have a nasty case of food poisoning from which I (hope) am recovering. We went to dinner last night and a few hours later, I knew I was in 'trouble'. ....didn't sleep a wink all night (which is even worse than my usual couple of hours of sleep and that's probably all of the 'detail' you care to know about. Anyway, I am finally feeling 'half-human' today, and will be spending the rest of the day taking it very easy. I'll be back later to catch up....hopefully today. Hope everyone else is well.

Well, hope you get better, well, you're already getting better so it looks at it will pass away soon. it seems this is becoming very usual these days here too. It's not hard to go out to dinner and to end with a little stomach ache or something worse. I don't know if they use worse products or so, now, coming from strange source or transgenic stuff or whatever. But there are many places where is not very safe to eat.

Hey Christy! Hope you're feeling better. I had some mild case of food poisoning in China after we had eaten a Korean barbecue/grill thingie and looking back on it, all I can think is that meat maybe wasn't thoroughly cooked. Anyway, I felt absolutely BAD that night, and yep, I can so imagine the "details" we don't want to know you're talking about. If it makes you feel any better, I also didn't sleep very well last night. Sean and I both have a cold, and Sean starts snoring loudly when he has one. : I couldn't sleep at all, so out of misery I took my sheets and pillows at 3.30am and went to sleep in the other room.
