Well bathroom is the only place in my house that is white except the mountain of clothes that need to be washed
I have a basement...that no one will ever see a photograph of...it is a scary place of laundry, accumulated junk, and spiders
We have a room like that, too...not a basement, mind you...after all this IS Florida... But we have a room like that, that no one will ever see. It's called the garage. : ops:

Ringo made a message to all his fans that after October 20th he doesnt sign any item. He doesn't open fan mail, he will throw everything away. Click on the link; beneath the picture of Ringo are two links in which you can open his video message. http://www.limburger.nl/article/20081015/SCALA/656349329/1056#
I wonder what happened, if something is keeping him extra busy now or if he's just tired of the whole thing. I certainly wouldn't blame him, he's been signing autographs for a long long time.
Last I heard, Svenn's still offering them though.

There's a radio programma I listen to every week; American Connection.kro.nl Each week they play a song and it is to the listeners to find the original; the group ore singer who recorded the song for the first time. Last week I found the right answer and won a CD of a Dutch band called The Folksurvicalclub. I love their music and think that you will love it too. http://www.folksurvival.nl/ Last Saturday we were in a CD shop in Zwolle, the owner of the shop pulled out a box filled with CD's. It was American import. Maarten took random some CD's out of the box. One of then is a CD of the Tatters. It's lovely music and we had to think of the voice of Christy. http://www.thetatters.com/ http://www.sevensouth.com/recordshop/Tatters/01.php
I'll check them out when I'm back from work. This photo may just be a regular street for you, but to me it looks very cool!....
Cool photo, Tina. It looks very "Europe" to me...other Americans will surely get what I mean by that.

I wondered too, is he tired of his fans? Maybe he's not feeling well. Paul always will remember that his fans made his fortune
There really does seem to be quite a contrast between Ringo's attitude about this issue, and Paul's. Wonder why? Like you suggested, maybe something's going on, or maybe something happened?

This is funny: http://www.vg.no/nyheter/utenriks/presidentvalg-2008/artikkel.php?artid=538582 "... If we keep talking about the ecenomy, McCain is going to lose. So today I'm going to talk about the economy."
I love that they both showed themselves to be good sports at that event. Obviously it was all scripted, but still...it was a fun thing to see. Here's more: http://afp.google.com/article/ALeqM5joltIgqjbY1UltfRPs355KSMO4BQ

I've had heard listen a story about a Joe the (dictionary break....) Plumber!. He approached Obama in a meeting and Obama told about him as a model of the American paying his taxes and worried by their use or so. Now it seems that that Joe doesn't pay taxes since a long time ago.
Turns out, he's not a registered plumber either.

21st Century Paul:
But you have taken the quote away of the context
But of course!

I get your point, but the reputable companies that conduct political survey research have things like small sample size factored in, so that they can generalize the results to larger populations, and draw valid conclusions. Not so sure about the unreputable ones of course, but Gallup, who did the survey above, has a very good reputation in the polling world.
but do they split the polls into different states? I mean, if you go to yahoo, you'll see a map of polls in almost all of the states and who's ahead in the polls of every state, not the national figure that doesn't decide the winner.
Well, but polls don't decide the winner either, of course....they can only provide information that can lead to reasonable predictions...they're just tools. But as I suggested, Gallups survey methods have always been seen as 'sound'. And this poll is only one of many. If you want to know state-by-state, yes, you'd have to look at different polling data.

21st Century Paul:
Now that he's almost gone I can post this without much controversy: http://www.networkingtheinternet.com/presidentialIQs.htm Estimated IQs of the Presidents of the USA since 1951. in the link they explain who and how is calculated 147 Franklin D. Roosevelt (D) 132 Harry Truman (D) 122 Dwight D. Eisenhower (R) 174 John F. Kennedy (D) 126 Lyndon B. Johnson (D) 155 Richard M. Nixon (R) 121 Gerald Ford (R) 175 James E. Carter (D) 105 Ronald Reagan (R) 098 George HW Bush (R) 182 William J. Clinton (D) 091 George W. Bush (R)
Interesting.........and not surprising. : From that website, they say that the presidents were:
"all rated based on scholarly achievements, writings that they alone produced without aid of staff, their ability to speak with clarity, and several other psychological factors"
I'd be curious to know what those "other psychological factors" were, as well as what criteria they used to determine things like "ability to speak with clarity".....that's some pretty subjective stuff. I hope they found objective ways to measure it.

Oh, no fake tits? Don't you mean "Oh no, fake tits!" They are not real, are they?
Punctuation matters I'm off to work, maybe today everyone will show up...yesterday a gal called in sick at the last minute : Catch you later Maybe my ballot will arrive in the mail today and I can VOTE!!! (after wading through a zillion initiative matters : )
Are you getting a gazillion phone calls about the election, too? I'm no longer answering the phone here until the election's over, if my caller ID gives me ANY reason to think it's a pollster, or even worse, a representative for ANY candidate.
EDIT: BTW...Susanne has added a new song ....http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=228269690
