I've seen this year they're gonna do another "Operacion Triunfo", that's it, the Spanish "Pop Idol", or should I say "pop Idol" is the English "Operacion Triunfo", cause the Spanish one is the original show, copied and pasted everywhere. I'm gonna try. Yes, I never liked the idea but well, some things at the show have changed. Or maybe it's me who has changed... anyway if I'm not true to myself it's not gonna kill me, I would realize sooner or later. Past year there were kind of 300,000 contestants yes, three hundred of thousands, so chances are ridiculously small, but I need to try. My chances with women are smaller, I believe, and I keep trying in spite of it all :, so...
If nothing else it will be an interesting experience and who knows it might open some doors. Good luck! Now I know who to blame for American Idol
you should blame these 3 guys, they are the conceivers and producers of the show. La Trinca, a kind of comedian band of the 70s and 80s lo haremos toda la noche (We'll make it all night long)
Quiero Una Novia Pechugona (I want a Busty Girlfriend) Etc. they did more than 10 albums -
Saw the Obama concert and it was great too bad the subtitles here were really really bad

I just finished watching _Catch-2_2, the movie that Artie did in 1969 on location in Mexico. ("Tom, get your plane right on time, I know your part will go fine, fly down to Mexico")...and the movie that was partly responsible for the S&G break-up, but that's not my point. It's a very weird and surreal movie, BUT...doesn't Art look great? *sigh* [[img]http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e212/vlivantje/SimonGarfunkel/th_Catch22_03.jpg[/img">](http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e212/vlivantje/SimonGarfunkel/Catch22_01.jpg]<img src=)
I can't tell you how many times I've come close to picking that flick up at Blockbuster, but every time I end up putting it back on the shelf. I vaguely recall having to read the book in high school (Tina, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Catch 22 generally one of those books that's been banned in high schools in recent years?), and I remember not caring so much for the story. But I'd forgotten Art was in the flick. Maybe I'll finally check it out soon. You liked it okay? Or too weird for your taste? Does this go on your 'recommend it!" list? :
Hmmm, do I like it? I don't know...if it wasn't for Art I never would have watched it, that's for sure. But if you want to see another movie with Art, take Carnal Knowledge or Bad Timing instead. They're also "weird" movies, but I like Bad Timing the most, despite its rather uh...disturbing ending. I had never heard of Catch-22 before Art. The book definitely isn't on our high school list. But I might read the book now to see what it's about.
I haven't read the movie or read the book but I have the book on cds so one of these days I may listen to it. Yeah, I think it has been banned in some school districts : I'm guessing the book is better than the movie since that's how it usually goes

No you're not. I'm the same! There's nothing better than just a voice and an acoustic guitar!

Are you sure I'm Norwegian...? Maybe I'm a woman who lives in Taiwan... or maybe even a reverend. it is possible that I'm single and rich too. You never know--- this is the internet.
Eve has met you unless she's in on the conspiracy too And you're a man of the cloth...."First Church of the Plunging Neckline".
Has she? That's what YOU think.
The conspiracy deepens. Where is Mulder when you need him
Plunging neckline.. I like that: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-508130/Tennis-stars-plunging-neckline-leaves-little-imagination.html http://p3.focus.de/img/gen/X/f/HBXf0KXK_Pxgen_r_311xA.jpg

Howard Stern's interview was great! I loved the questions.
- You went through a dark period, sh**ty marriage. By the way, who told you to get the prenup? Do you remember? - Stop it, Howard. - You are on my show. He should have listened to Howard.I think Paul might have walked out of the interview if it was anyone else but Howard.

It is really impressive that Sullenberger managed to land on the river.
It truly is. Watching the video fo the landing it looks like no big deal...but it is nothing short of amazing. One helluva pilot!!

Evie, I finally managed to listen to your Sounds of Silence... Beautiful!!! I envy you so much, being able to play guitar and sing great as well!!!! And seeing this one's great, I can't imagine how the "improved" version would sound like

I think so too. Howard Stern can get away with just about anything. He asks the questions many would like to ask, but he's the only one who's got the balls to do it... "Did you ever make out with Renée Zellweger?"

Maybe the best commercial of the year alreadyIS that a test if you're a man or a woman, I'm neither in that case!! Question to ya all: What would a room be filled with to make you react that way??
Paul McCartney
OK, new rule...not any person...
Okey, not any person What about certain 2 or 3 If not a huge audience waiting for me to perform. Though I guess it would have to be them who would have to react that way, not me ... but I bet the first times I would be more happy than them, maybe all of them.

Same here, they invented that formula, I think it would have been better if they would have done more records, instead... but well... Is somehow funny that even being in different countries... we see the same shows. I mean there's the Operacion Triunfo everywhere, the Who Wants to be a Millionaire, the Smarter than a Child, etc. the same shows everywhere... :
