How exciting for her! Congratulations. Will this be your first 'great' niece or nephew?
Needed a dictionary for this it is my cousin here is 'nicht' the same as cousin and niece ops:
Here, a person becomes a "great aunt" or "great uncle" when their niece or nephew has a child.

Our local newspaper did something kind of cool the other day....thought I'd share it here with y'all, especially since we have so many 'fans' of breasts. : The Saturday (18 Oct) issue of the Florida Times-Union was printed.......the entire thing--102 pages, mind you..........on PINK newsprint! The lead story was about a local family with 5 daughters, 3 of which have breast cancer , and another one who had a preventative double mastectomy. The youngest of the five is "being closely monitored" also. And get this......the cancer gene that affects this family so horrendously...........comes from their father.
Well men can have breast cancer too so they also can have that gene
Yes. A couple of weeks ago I was at a football match, and it was at the breast cancer awareness day. We were encouraged to donate money. The home team for the first time in their history did not play in their usual kit. The usually play in red, blue and white. This is the jersey they wore: http://aoimg.no.publicus.com/apps/pbcsi.dll/bilde?Avis=AO&Dato=20081003&Kategori=SPORT&Lopenr=465655406&Ref=AR&Profile=1054&MaxW=468&NoBorder It is a horrible disease, I think it was 10 pages about it in the newspaper that day.
That is totally cool, Svenn. Thanks for sharing about it, and the picture is very cool, too.
Thank you for sharing your story. I love the pink newspaper!
You're welcome. I thought the newsprint in pink was cool, too. Apparently our newspaper is not the only one to be doing this. http://www.thecabin.net/stories/100108/loc_1001080001.shtml

Hey Christy. I think you asked about avalanches some time ago. We have them in Norway too. Every winter many avalanches, and it's not long ago that some people got killed... Now there is a warning system that is very good, we can see on that map where there is a big risk of avalanches. That is pretty amazing.

Yes, I did ask about them...totally forgot. The warning system you have sounds similar to the way they can 'predict' earthquakes by studying the "fault" lines, and that way they can tell which areas are 'high risk' , etc., as you say. That video is both beautiful and scary at the same time. The last bit when the wall of snow is rushing between those trees is really amazing.

Hey Christy! Hope you're feeling better. I had some mild case of food poisoning in China after we had eaten a Korean barbecue/grill thingie and looking back on it, all I can think is that meat maybe wasn't thoroughly cooked. Anyway, I felt absolutely BAD that night, and yep, I can so imagine the "details" we don't want to know you're talking about. If it makes you feel any better, I also didn't sleep very well last night. Sean and I both have a cold, and Sean starts snoring loudly when he has one. : I couldn't sleep at all, so out of misery I took my sheets and pillows at 3.30am and went to sleep in the other room.
Snoring is a major problem in our house too, and not just with a cold (and no, Tina, it's not ME that snores, as you should well know, having slept with my husband ). H0pe you finally got some sleep!
I remember that... She even slept with your husband before she met you!

it seems like John Doe movie story but it's Svenn, Svenn for president, but he wasn't born in the USA.
Yeah, that's gonna be a problem.
No doubt, I would vote for Svenn!
Hey Stefan! Yeah, he's got my vote, too. Hell, I was even hoping for a VP nomination but I see Svenn already found 'someone else'. : Hmmm.....but he's gonna need a campaign manager, ya know? And often they end up with cabinet positions. I can be his Secretary of the Interior, or perhaps he can create a new cabinet position for me....maybe Secretary of "Domestic Relations" (gotta get Kate's permission first ;)).
Secretary for Domestic Relations? OMG-- I was thinking I could use an intern and the White House - but this is even better.
Yeah, but what does KATE, YOUR WIFE, have to say?!?!!
Kate, what Kate? is this the Supernova thread or a paralel universe Tina slept with Christy's husband and Svenn is married. Are you fooling me?

http://www.expressen.se/1.1336438 I don't think women should drink coffee...
I'm seeing an article clearly in Norwegian, about women drinking coffee and the mention of what looks like the word cancer....right? What's the article saying about them? :
Yeah, it says something about cancer. But I think it's a funny headline.. It says that drinking coffee can result in smaller breasts... But it also reduces the risk of breast cancer. It's a tough decision.
that theory has sense Denise Milani only drinks water

YOU missed that story too : Christy and Tina has a lot to tell
What Angela, don't tell me you don't remember the story of Tina sleeping with Christy's husband?
Well, Tina and he sure remember it. : God, she's gonna die when she gets home from work and sees this brought up again.
You brought it up agian so it's only natural you post the story again
Okay. I assure you, it's not anywhere NEAR as exciting or scandalous as it sounds. When Tina and I flew to Vegas to meet, my husband was already there for a conference (sure....: ;)) and decided to stay for the weekend, since I was flying in and so was Tina. Anyway, he had a colleague with him, and Tina's flight arrived before mine, and turns out MY flight was gonna be very...um..."late" (actually, there's another story that goes here, that I quite reluctantly told awhile back, that I'm hoping you forgot about, too. :lol, so he and his colleague picked Tina up at the airport and took her to dinner, then they came back to the airport to drop his colleague off for his out-going flight, and to wait together for me to show up. Well................since my flight was "late" :, it was pretty late when I finally arrived and Tina and he had fallen asleep "together" sitting in side-by-side chairs at the airport. VERY typical for him, as he spends a LOT of time in airports (and probably "sleeps" with all kinds of women :lol, but what was hilarious was that the very first thing that Tina said to me, when I finally got there was "Hey, nice to meet ya, and oh btw, I had a great time sleeping with your husband". Yep, that's our Tina.
Definitely Supernova people are weird people... umm... no.. Special people.

Ok, good night all you special people. I've finished 3 songs lyrics and the 4th is almost finished too. I almost forgot but this Wednesday I've got tickets for the Queen+Paul Rodgers show in Barcelona. As usual I'll try to be in the front row and I won't be alone. A tribute for the second band of my dreams with Brian May and Roger Taylor still there. Last time I and some others repeated "Brian, Brian!" so much when he came down to play the acoustic solo set, that he was moved to tears, in a good way. I don't know if I want to repeat that. I owe him a lot. queen forever and somehow now. Not so long ago (sept 24th) Brian May and Paris audience doing Love of My Life
I've found a setlist from October 13th, just a week ago in London. Hammer To Fall (is there anything stronger to start a concert?, Highway to Hell if ever) Tie Your Mother Down Fat Bottomed Girls Another One Bites The Dust I Want It All I Want To Break Free C-lebrity Surfs Up?Schools Out Seagull Love Of My Life ?39 I?m In Love With My Car A Kind Of Magic Say It?s Not True Bad Company We Believe Bijou Last Horizon Radio GAGA Crazy Little Thing Called Love The Show Must Go On Bohemian Rhapsody - Cosmos Rockin? Kate aka Saint Katherine for putting up with Svenn I love the parallel universe concept! What's a little rip in the fabric of space/time among friends.

Check this out. Looks beautiful, but dangerous:
Beautiful footage. It just looks like just a little ripple of fluffy snow until you see in completely engulf the trees in it's path. So how INSANE are those people snowboarding through there : I just watched a video on the BBC about a parasite that is killing salmon in Norwegian streams and how they are spraying entire rivers to kill the parasite and the infected fish. If it was in the US I would assume "man" was somehow to blame for it through pollution or something, but in icy and pristine (at least it looks that way) Norway I can't imagine people caused the problem. But I'm sure there is pollution everywhere.

What's wrong with this picture........... Answer....I'm not in it! Some of my friends are in Aruba for two weeks....and I am home...in the rain...and cold...and gray...so how smart am I?? (don't answer )

Checking out the adverts on Oliver's site again...and tonight the web-weavers are touting me on DIG recording studio Obviously they know where I'm coming from and what I'm listening to and therefore added 1+1 and think I may be in the market for some recording myself...they couldn't be more WRONG What I still haven't figured out is how the hell the ad-meisters divined that I could afford any of Christie's estates :

You hit the nail on the head. I hadn't heard of Paul Weller ops: (old US gal here ) and in checking out a bunch of his videos on youtube I found "A Town Called Malice" from Glastonbury 2007 and really enjoyed it!
