You`re welcome, mate
... My newest recommendation in terms of bands. Check out THE RIFLES (if you haven`t yet)...great new guitar-band from Britain in the vein of OASIS, THE JAM and THE LIBERTINES... I also noticed a STROKES-influence! Their album "No Love Lost" is brilliant. The standout tracks (maybe you`ll find them on the web) IMO are "She`s Got Standards", "Peace And Quiet"
and "When I`m Alone"

Went to check the Rifles. Good stuff!!!!!!!! Real cool! Hearing peace and Quiet now, and before she's got standards A couple of the best bands around today for me are: - Kaiser Chiefs - Raconteurs - The Dead 60's (for anyone who likes a bit of ska and swinging music) - The Automatics - Mew (they've got a very Penny Lane like song)

A friend of mine is the biggest MEW-fan on god`s earth... a week ago he burned me ALL their albums; I still have yet to listen to them, but I probably won`t like it... the songs I heard sound a bit "prog" if you know what I mean. Not my type of music! Anyway, when I`ve finally checked them out I`ll let you know!

Not the first. My Supertramp story begins with Crime of the Century, one of my fav records ever!. The previous ones are hard to find, if they ever can be bought... I went to a free concert of Roger Hodgson in 2000 or so. He was alone with ac guitar or keyboard and singing. He sung Take the long way home, then Even in the quietest moments. Then he started Hide in your shell. And we some started to whistle the whistle and to do the harmonies (obviously Roger could not do all these parts :lol
. As songs went on almost all the crowd was doing harmonies, sax solos
, etc. He said "I wish that you were my band and take you all around the world with me". I think he enjoyed as much as ourselves. I never been to a concert like that. We were 100 people sitting down on the FLOOR and we were "the band". I had a shiny face for days...

I had a freaky dream just now. I was at Stefan's house in Greece, which he shared with his sisters. We had some sort of party in their garden, and after the party we would go out. Suddenly Syd Barrett appeared at the party. He was the '67 Barrett, young and oh so beautiful, but he was already really really crazy. Most people were amused in the beginning, but then their interest faded away when they saw how little sense he made. I sticked around, though, and we became 'friends'. At times he was really clear and making sense, and at others he was totally unpredictable. He tried to leave the party many times, or he threw things around, and then suddenly he would tell me about Roger Waters and his music. Really weird. He had some other weird moments when he would confess things and he wanted someone to hold him, so I did (best part of the dream!). All the while, Stefan's sisters were saying that they would leave soon so I'd have to make up my mind about going with them. I really wanted to go out with them, but when I started getting ready, Syd jumped off the balcony! We watched in horror as he landed on the grass (the lunatic is on the grass...) and when we thought he was either dead or paralysed he got up, smiled, and left. Perfectly normal. Then I had to really hurry up and get ready because one of Stefan's sisters was being a bitch. Sorry, Stefan!! Meanwhile I asked how we would get to wherever we were going, and Stefan said "by car". I asked if there was room for me, and he said "we're nine people already but we'll make room for you".
miss you

Hahahah... you dreamed of me (or did you mean chaos and creation kid; his name`s Stefan too)... how did I look like?
BTW.: I don`t have no sisters (and brothers)...

I'm very surprised by the last single of Dover "Let me out"
I don't know what to say about it, I'll have to listen again Well, an eternal Dover classic "Serenade" or "Better Day"
