I can't get Mink off of me-must be the rain....I put her down and she sits and looks pitiful- she is up here now again- she needs to go to bed!! she sits and huffs in my ear!!! non
(((((((AWWWWW)))))) thats soo cute!!!!!!!

Oh, it was the funniest thing yesterday. The Citgo station next to Wal-Mart usually fights with them over gas prices. Well, they gave up yesterday. Their gas cost $2.69 while Wal-Mart's gas cost $2.43.

I guess it's one of those things where you have to be from around here to get why it's so funny.
-
I just heard on TV that Walmart gave $1 Million to the Salvation Army to help feed and take care of the people from the hurricane- I hope all of the other companies (HELLO OIL COMPANIES) do at least that much....New Orleans is a MESS- wow- I can't even imagine what it must be like to be under all that water- plus think of all the fish and stuff!! And the biting stuff!!
Jellyfish and stingrays and sharks
You wouldn't catch me out playing around in that water!!! non
-
I wouldn't be in any water. Can't swim.
It's a good thing that the storm didn't do quite as much as they were saying.
-
I can't imagine it being much worst unless it just disappeared!! The pictures are incrdible- especially the aerial ones- just miles of homes under water up to the rooftops- what a mess to clean up!! And that one home on fire and they can't even get close to it- so sad.... non
-
It didn't do near as much here as we were being told it would do. I just assumed that given that, Louisiana would've really gotten it worse too.
-
They said there are people at their homes that are outside cooking on grills when there is gas in the water all around them. There have been quite a few houses that have caught fire from either the grills or from generators too close to the houses.
-
I'm afraid they will be finding bodies for a long time-as the water recedes-ugh! And the alligators.....there is alot of rural area that they have not even touched yet- and areas that are underwater that they can't even SEE yet- An epic disaster, no doubt- and we are spending money on a war???!!! We will need every penny and soldier here..... non
-
So sad and tragic for all of those who have lost family and property. I feel at such a loss. Just donating to the food bank and rescue organizations doesn`t seem like enough. I don`t know what else I can do though.
-
I know what you mean- I want to jump in my car and go there and help!!! Maybe I should join the Red Cross and just travel with them- if I didn't have my cats, I would- non
