i remember when my sweet mother died some years ago...and how she has visited me in my dreams so many times since, each time presenting herself at a different age, sometimes very young, sometimes very old, sometimes middle-aged...but each and every time is so very precious to me, just because i know she's "there..." each and every age is her "essence," and it is this essence that i love...does anyone else understand this?????? love does not fade away...
Yes... they are there in a very beautiful place. I saw the beauty in my Mom's eyes as she was dying.... She was smiling.... She had woken up from a 9 day coma, had a beautiful smile on her face, like she saw something soooo beautiful she looked up, and the light left her eyes....my Dad saw his father right before he died. He was calling to him. He sounded shocked to see him. At the nursing home, they told me that your loved ones come for you at the end and they show up to help make a smoother passage for you. They told me that they witness it all the time. At the nursing home they would come in and sit with the old people who have no one, so they don't have to die alone. I believe that 100% because I saw it in both my mother and my father. They leave their body behind, even the Bible talks about the Spirit leaving. After they die, they are in their spirit form, that's why it seems ageless. I think they know it helps us to see them in a dream. But I think they are around for us. When my Dad died, all kind of things happened... we all would just look at each other and we knew it was our Dad, trying to tell us he was OK and he was there... (a long story) but it clearly was him. I believe in Angels and Spirit Guides If you wish for something, make sure to say Thank You.... [size=5]I can still read it 1909 haaa Spam... yuck...

thank you, love2travel, for understanding... i believe my mom's presence has literally "saved me," once from a car crash, and another time from skidding off a very steep, black-ice mountain highway (where i absolutely should have gone over the edge not once, but twice while fish-tailing on the ice!!!) anyway, that's what i believe - she presents herself in my dreams before things like that...and i've learned to PAY ATTENTION!!!

Funny you should mention the car crash, because I had a similar experience. One time going thru an intersection, it seemed my car wove and flew so fast...and I missed hitting any of the cars!!! That was a miracle, and amazing driving. It didn't seem like I could have done that by myself.... I always wondered about that... Then there was the time that in my mind, at least, I can't figure out how I didn't hit a car in an intersection. It seemed like I would have had to hit it... no other way, and yet both vehicles were spared. Still scratching my head on that one!! I know exactly what you mean about PAY ATTENTION!!! I always follow my feelings/intuition. It amazes me about how that works... but it does... My Dad is the one for me.
