Pharmaceutical companies are making it impossible for Diabetics to afford insulin. Without insulin, anyone with any type of diabetes is at risk for life threatening side effects. $500 for 5 insulin pens is outrageous! And even insulin pumps are sky high. Please sign the Make Insulin Affordable Petition & help save lives. Thank you. https://makeinsulinaffordable.org/petition/

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm under the impression that insulin pens can be purchased on the open market for much less than $100 each (maybe not everywhere yet). Real change, good change is often slow.

Andy, if such places do sell insulin pens for less than $100 each, I'd like to know how to contact them. Even Canadian pharmacies are pricey even tho' they're still cheaper than the US.

Thought CVS a few weeks ago had a news release. Try this address (Amazon) https://www.amazon.com/Lantus-Insulin-pen/s?ie=UTF8&page=1&rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3ALantus%20Insulin%20pen Is this what you want??

Thanks Andy, but those are just accessories. Not actual insulin. Insulin is prescription only.

It's a good thing I'm not in the medical field ops: Sooner or later the drug companies will discover that one of their kind will see a huge advantage to competition (rather than under the table agreement) for drug prices. Under a Trump Admin. it's bound to be sooner (my opinion).

Shared it on my facebook and signed. My grandmother has diabetes and it's tough for her to get affordable medicine these days. It's just a business.

Thanks for signing! I get my insulin from Canada, as there are legit pharmacies that are so much more affordable than the US. And I also ask our family dr. & diabetes specialist for samples of the insulin pens I use. Both drs. always give samples when they have them.
