Its through my company, a customer care job and because I've been there over 25 years, I would be very high senority and get the best schedule, no nights Saturdays or holidays. Basically keeping high end clients happy...I can easily do that! working from an in home office and then monthly meetings an hour from me. I'd be working for people who I started out with, 25 years ago. I did really well and got a lot of recognition awards then.

You going to go for it? Sounds like a wonderful opportunity! I made the transition back into an office 3.5 years ago so it was heavenly to have weekends and holidays off again, I can imagine the feeling will be the same for you!

Thanks, giving the manager a call on Monday, we were in the same training class when I started. Fate had me run into someone I knew from the days when I started, who told me about the opportunity! Hopefully it will all work out! I need to get away from where I am STAT!

Excellent video!!! You didn't see John and Paul together like that on stage much. George looked so lonely over there.

They had a Norwegian Handanger 8 string violin on Antiques Roadshow last night that was appraised at $15,000. It has 4 regular strings at the top of the bridge and 4 right below them that vibrate in harmony when it is played. Had never heard of them until then. Will look it up on youtube and post a link.
The Musée de la Musique in Paris has a 14 string bass, among other instruments.

Will have to get to that Museum in Paris next time I'm there, sounds interesting... The Handanger sounds really great, especially the second one. It seems to suit the music so well! Have played that a few times now!

^ Would love to see that 14 string bass too, and I do love the sound of that 8 string violin as well! Watched an excellent 60 minutes on Sunday night! A segment on Jimmy Wales (Founder of Wikipedia) and then a segment on Neil De Grasse Tyson followed it. They both brought beautiful tears of joy to my eyes.
