GAS (gasoline!)

Gee it just went up 20 to 30 cents per gallon just in time for the Memorial Day weekend. Who would of guessed that?
Those who get rewarded for these profit pockets are grinning with excuses from ear to ear
Usually they are at the top ( don't get mad at the place that sells it to you... they get called and are given the price to sell it for ... If they Mark it up from there they lose customers).

I got gas for $2.59 on my way from Atlanta to Nashville on Weds, then $2.65 in KY on the way to Louisville today. Thought it would be much higher!

$1.39/litre in my neck of the woods. Not far from me at First Nations yesterday fuel was $1.15.
That is like $4.35 and $5.26 per gallon!!!! Holy Moly!
It is $2.78 per gallon near me in the suburbs of Atlanta.
The United States has some of the lowest gas prices in the world.

$1.07 per litre on the Reserve this morning.

^ OMG, that is $4.05 per gallon!!
Gas at the Kroger near me is $2.79 per gallon. I always get at least 3 cents off per gallon by using my Kroger MC, sometimes 15, 20 or more cents off.

I get 6¢ off at local Thorntons gas stations.
Prices have been fluctuating quite a lot. Prices now are in the $2.70 range.

Just realized Rockerdude was quoting Canadian $, so in USD his gas would be $3.09/gallon, which is still high!

It's mostly taxes which I don't mind because it pays for our great health care in Canada. Nice not having to worry about physician & hospital bills or any medical tests. Since being recently retired I still receive my health benefits like physio, massage, eye glasses & prescriptions etc.

^ Yeah, it always seems that oil prices & the stock market move together in the same direction. So it's ok with me.
