I have just replied to you and to someone else. I did not see a warning about PMs, there used to be one running across the screen.
I don't see warnmings either. This forum is pretty crappy tech-wise for Paul McCartney standards. You can't even embbed a bloody youtube video or stay logged in after a few hours.

True that.

There was a rumour about a press conference today announcing concerts in Brazil. I'm not sure who would be doing the announcement. Local promoters? The national tour promoter? Stadium administration? Politicians involved in the negotiations? It was not very clear. Anyway, now that a concert in Poland has been announced and it has been stated that more concerts will be confirmed in the coming weeks, I believe we will have news pretty soon. Check this out:

The "you have X private messages" runs across the top of the home page on the first instance after logging in - once you browse away from that page the notification disappears. For a more positive PM notification consider the options available to you within your Profile. You can request a Pop Up window with a notice of new messages:
Pop up window on new Private Message:
or even a e-mail alert:
Notify on new Private Message:

Thanks for the explanation, martinput!

Thanks Martin! I have it set "Pop up window on new Private Message: Yes". But nothing happened, I'll check if ABP is causing it.

Apparently, Brazil is back on the game! The governor of Ceará informed a few weeks ago that Belo horizonte would be the opening show of a new tour. Well, the new tour has been announced today, and it is rumoured for today the confirmation of the Brazilian leg. Let's see.

I'm waiting for that confirmation, even if it's not today.

FrankieJ:
By the way, is it normal for the website to announce shows NOT in chronological order?
Yes.

I have just read that they are trying to decide exactly how many tickets will be available for the May 03 concert, and that decision is expected to be reached today. I believe it's more reasonable to expect a confirmation next week, especially considering that the announcement made earlier today mentioned that more tour dates will indeed be announced in the coming weeks.

Are you sure that what you've read are today's news? I've read something about this a week or two ago

Yes I am. In fact, a journalist has just said the he spoke earlier today with the governor of Minas Gerais, who stated that the concert in Belo Horizonte will happen. There was an issue about a soccer game that will happen on the stadium on May o5, but it has been solved. The dates remain unchanged: May 03 - Belo Horizonte May 05 - Goiânia May 09 - Fortaleza
The same journalist has mentioned once again that the May 03 concert will be the first of Paul's new tour: -

Austria confirmed! I wasn't expecting that!

Plus "details of fan pre-sales will be announced shortly"...

I'm shocked! Maybe there really is hope for Australia!

Actually, his interview will be with the governor, not the producer:

So another mega capacity open air show announced. Hope they've considered the European weather and the ticket sales from past shows *cough Horsens *cough If he's playing a new set I'm planning on coming over to one of the shows, but the way it's looking now it's clashing with many other acts and festivals that period.
