Yeah, but that piece of information was really vague and did not actually mention UK shows. It could have easily meant he will be occupied with his daughter or similar engagements. I got my hopes up last year for Christmas and it turned out to be bitterly disappointing, so I won't get them up again.

Yes, commitments can be professional or personal....may mean nothing for UK shows. This last 4 months will be interesting if nothing else

Hello everyone, I just a couple of questions: what are the chances that Paul will tour in the NYC area in the next several months? How long before the concert does he usually announce when and where it will happen? I missed him here in June and I am so upset, I can't wait for him to come back.

Paul just did two shows in NYC. It is not likely he will play there again in 2013. Maybe 2014?

It would be cool to see Paul perform "Outta Sight" with Bloody Beetroots at the iHeart thing.

Well, this points to McCartney doing some shows in the southwest USA in September. Still, this show does not do much to fulfill fan needs in the area if you can't even buy a ticket to the show.

Which means that this will definitely not be his crowd, so he's gonna have to work to win 'em over, especially since he may be doing mostly material from the new album. I'd like to see him face the challenge.

I agree. I am not so sure he will be doing mostly material from a new album. MAYBE one song, sing a single is supposed to be out next month. But I could be wrong.

I guess it depends on how long his set is. iHeartRadio sets usually run around 45 minutes per act. So, if Paul McCartney does 15 Beatles songs and only one new song, this will not benefit the new album one iota... ...because guess which songs played that night that the media will play-up in their coverage?

You won't get an argument from me. But is there anything in the last eleven years to indicate McCartney will go in front of an audience of 50,000 people and play twelve new, never before heard songs?
-
The closest thing would be his Concert For NYC set in 2001. It was mostly Driving Rain songs.

It could happen. And if McCartney only does a 45 minute set, this may be a one off. No other shows in the region at that time period.
-
Nope. Otherwise, he's a (his words) "60s rock & roll package."
-
McCartney's FB page says tonight's show in Regina is the last one of the North American tour. Hmmmmm.....
-
A mere typo. Let's just blame it on another, uninformed intern.

While we're at it, I think I'll blame the whole routing of this tour on an uninformed intern!
