Paul McCartney 2013 Rumours
-
Well, so far there is only one American date, and it's a festival. Paul is doing three shows in Brazil and three in Europe. Given the numbers, he is hardly ignoring Europe.
-
I refering to all these American rumours. There's a whole list. If there was an even, fair amount in each continent then that's fine. At least Americans have hope for announcements for summer shows. I don't.

I wish I was Brazilian
Be careful with what you wish for, it may come true and you might end up living in a favela

What's a favela?
It's a place where poor people live: a slum. But I'll refrain from making jokes about the present state of the economy in Argentina.

Can I joke about it? We're far worse than Brazil, Carlos!

What's it like where you live? I won't joke about Argentina, either. I'm British, so.... can of worms!

When the entire population vote to go with Argentina instead of the UK, then we will! How many people voted for Argentina rule? Was it three? Yes, I think it was. Politics makes me laugh.

Well, that British population was implanted on Argentinean territory. That voting was like asking a thief if he preferred to keep the goods he stole or to return them to their rightful owner

Oh dear, politics....RUN!!!!

Fair enough. I am waiting to see what announcements are made. And while it is a time away, McCartney may do more Euro dates in the Fall, with UK concerts in the mix.

But now you have the Pope on your side! Regarding Paul's concerts, I see a new pattern: Three concerts in Brazil within five days (May 04-09) Three concerts in Europe within five days (June 22-27) Apparently that's because of the legal issues related to Paul's youngest daughter, meaning he cannot stay away from England for more than 10 consecutive days, if I understood it correctly. Therefore, if rumours of concerts in the U.S. do come true, it will probably a few concerts within a week, then a gap, then another series of concerts within a week. That would explain the apparently random (or "zig zag") rumored tour schedule between June and August: a few concerts in the East Coast, a gap, a few concerts in the West Coast, another gap, etc.

An Argentian wanting to rule islands made of British people would be anti-democracy... dictatorship almost. Like Putin ruling America. It's a bit like someone coming along and telling President Obama "Oh, this is awkward, but... we've decided we want Hawaii because it's closer to us than mainland America!" And do we just ignore the war? That's like handing power back to Hitler when the second world war finished. If everyone on the islands wanted to be part of Argentina then that's absolutely fine, but they don't and you can't force them. Come on, dear! Let's be friends anyway!

I think you may be right, Carlos! Now it's a head scratcher with the millions Paul probably spends in lawyers he couldn't get a deal on which he can leave England for more than a week in a row?

Maybe he simply doesn't want to be away from his daughter for more than a week at a time?

Good excuse to do some show in England then.
