PS - I don't know if you know about this...but this 'Holocaust' topic is very very very sensitive even today...and to 'bone' such a topic so badly is hugely embarrassing at best - and Obama won't even apologize to the Polish people for his comments...which even if given the benefit of doubt that he just slipped, doesn't excuse the lack of apology And the fact that the mainstream (liberal) media refuses to report it, but would rather harp on an innocent typo is even more digusting[/code]

June 1, 2012 4:00 A.M. President Obama Shuns (Poland's) Lech Walesa ... According to the Wall Street Journal, Polish officials requested that Walesa accept the Medal of Freedom on behalf of Jan Karski, a member of the Polish Underground during World War II who was being honored posthumously this week. The request makes sense. Walesa and Karski shared a burning desire to rid Poland of tyrannical subjugation. But President Obama said no. ... http://www.nationalreview.com/articles/301474/president-obama-shuns-lech-walesa-rory-cooper

They ALL reported on it...DAYS ago. And, by the way, I wish the media were as liberal as conservatives (on numerous conservative news outlets) allege. For starters, that whole Iraq thing might not have occurred in '03, had the journalists taken the Bush administration to task.

Are you saying that Rush Limbaugh is a conservative stricken news outlet?

I'm sure they have ... just can't prove it ... However, in the light of the news clip above consider this (along with the lousy job market) ... December 28, 2011 ... First Solar is eliminating 60 jobs at a Santa Clara research center after receiving $3.43 million in state sales tax credits. The federal government provided $3 billion in loan guarantees to the Tempe, Ariz., company, the most of any recipient ... http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2011/12/27/BUUS1MHB1K.DTL

"Today the Bildeberg Club meeting takes place in Virginia. Not so long ago it was supposed to be a conspiranoic invention. Now it's on the mass media. Then something big has changed. And the main topic (that and the USA elections) is what the heck is going to happen in Europe, so in the world. Now Merkel urges Spain to ask for money fearing Spain's collapse spreading to Italy's collapse and France's collapse ,etc (German Finance Minister said yesterday). But there ain't enough money that wants to give credit Spain... (not even Germany...). So what now? Too big too fall and too big not to fall. Contradiction. System failure. Game over. Yes, unless something unexpected makes it all a little longer. But no-one I read (not even Soros) has named any "new possible thing" to save the game. So I really think there isn't any. We'll see in the few days anyway. Now it's not about the next years, or the next months, but the next days." By the way... The Bildeberg meeting this year is on Virginia, that was the capital of the part the USA who wanted NOT to abolish slavery, am I wrong?. Ok, the world abolished slavery, it was complicated but it happened, in the USA it was a social movement. So humans don't like injustice... in the end they abolish it. In spite of what they decide on Virginia..." End of analysis

0% job-growth under Bush. By the time he left office, the U.S. was losing jobs at 600,000 a month. A devastating challenge for our country. And both sides contributed to it, but Bush's reckless, nuclear-option initiatives ensured it. So, it befuddles me that blindly partisan conservatives have the hutzpah to quibble at 150,000+ jobs per month -- or only 69,000+ this month -- being added. Growth is growth. At the very least, slow growth is certainly better than losing jobs.

21st Century Paul:
It's the end of the world as we know it (and I feel fine)
If Romney squeaks by with a victory, yes, I'll be let down that our country chose to be stupid, yet again. However, the bright spot is that Romney is not really a conservative. Remember: He's the guy that will say or do ANYTHING for any given audience. He would find himself being torn between destructive GOP'ers and his awareness of job-approval polls. True, ALL politicians monitor polls, but this man's goal is solely to "win." No matter who the indirect benefactors are. With that said: Obama's gonna get re-elected, but we gotta give him a Congress that will work with him, too.

New lefty tactic just arrived^^^^ On shelves today everywhere - If Romney wins, he's really a democrat

And the same, tired rightie tactic: Disregard blaring, obvious facts.

So, are you finally acknowledging that Romney tends to, let's say, shift positions?

June 2, 2012 Dreaming of a Superhero By: MAUREEN DOWD ... The president who started off with such dazzle now seems incapable of stimulating either the economy or the voters. His campaign is offering Obama 2012 car magnets for a donation of $10; cat collars reading ?I Meow for Michelle? for $12; an Obama grill spatula for $40, and discounted hoodies and T-shirts. How the mighty have fallen. ... In his new book, ?A Nation of Wusses,? the Democrat Ed Rendell, the former governor of Pennsylvania, wonders how ?the best communicator in campaign history? lost his touch. http://www.nytimes.com/2012/06/03/opinion/sunday/dowd-dreaming-of-a-superhero.html?_r=1&ref=opinion
